probably much more b than aDo streamers build games
or do games build streamers?
back when COD was good smh
Brilliant news.Even with the aoe4 events from genesis the numbers are still going down, compared to the previous week the game lost 2k-3k players, on twitch numbers are still high cause of the large number of sc2 popular streamers, but they are losing viewers, taking hera as one example he had today 1.7k viewers from 2.5k compared to last week, the same with all aoe4 streamers.
Right now the current online players of aoe4 is just 1k more than aoe2, the tendency of losing players is not affected despite tournaments running.
Looks like a good timing to start an aoe4 dynasty discussion...View attachment 196795
without counting aoe2 HD, so we should start consider things like aoe2 is dead... this game can´t die guys. There is less players on DE2 in europe mornings but in evenings, there is alot more players on DE2, probably because DE2 players are older and they work, so when they are back from work, they decide wife or aoe2? answer is clear that why so many single people LOL xD
WE love this game for a reason.
your entire post history is love for all things that are new, regardless of the details, and hate for everyone who criticizes things that are new, regardless of the details. doesn't this shtick get old after awhile? What a bunch of depressed, lost people in this thread. Just cringeworthy, nothing more.
He is just an attention seeker, must be 13 yrs old. Those AoE4 numbers are not promising at all.your entire post history is love for all things that are new, regardless of the details, and hate for everyone who criticizes things that are new, regardless of the details. doesn't this shtick get old after awhile?
That's exactly my concern since the beginning, to be honest I don't even care/hate about AOE4, problem is its effect on AOE2. Will Microsoft be willing to invest to AOE2 after AOE4 is failed? That's quite a big concern for me.I personally prefer AoE2 to AoE4, but I also worry about the underperformance of AoE4, and its impact on the franchise, including AoE2.
The probability of investing in aoe2 is higher if aoe4 fails than if the new game was doing well. That's exactly my concern since the beginning, to be honest I don't even care/hate about AOE4, problem is its effect on AOE2. That could be true or wrong, depends how many people will leave AOE2 completely during dark times, to be honest launching AOE4 and asking content creators/players to move in to new game by providing early access or other benefits was the moment I realized AOE4 launch was lose/lose for AOE2.The probability of investing in aoe2 is higher if aoe4 fails than if the new game was doing well.
I know that Vivi has announced that he will move to AoE4 (more of a not-playing AoE2 anymore announcement tbh), but I do not think Hera has made a statement that he won't be playing AoE2 anymore. That's exactly my concern since the beginning, to be honest I don't even care/hate about AOE4, problem is its effect on AOE2. But players who are switching to AOE4 completely, I don't feel same, there is a certain disappointment. I hope those guys won't come back when AOE4 is failed after making annoucements that they completely leave AOE2, like Hera and Vivi.
Dont talk reason in aoezone. You can post some stats and extrapolate to suit your narrativeI know that Vivi has announced that he will move to AoE4 (more of a not-playing AoE2 anymore announcement tbh), but I do not think Hera has made a statement that he won't be playing AoE2 anymore.
Everything I have seen from Hera is that he will play both games, but that his short-term focus will be primarily AoE4. I think Hera got burnt out on AoE2 a bit, and I honestly think a small step back from the game will be good for his relationship with AoE2 in the long-run
for non meta different civs? Can someone explain why there are so many alt accounts on top100 of aoe4 board? Like Marine lord and his 2 KEWK accounts, I see Lucifron getting up new account too, whats the point to make alt accounts on a new game? I'm a little confused what is this about
They are all at same elo though if we speak about Marine Lord/KEWK/ANTIKEWKfor non meta different civs?
The short version is that quickly getting multiple accounts to the top of ladder is what the cool kids do.They are all at same elo though if we speak about Marine Lord/KEWK/ANTIKEWK
Okay, I guess I'm too old for that lol. Like having one account doing random dumb stuff I understand, but having 3 accounts at same elo in a new game is bit strange. The short version is that quickly getting multiple accounts to the top of ladder is what the cool kids do.
You gotta grab attention to grow your brand.Okay, I guess I'm too old for that lol. Like having one account doing random dumb stuff I understand, but having 3 accounts at same elo in a new game is bit strange.
so sad but true.they were able to realize significant sells for a game that runs on an engine from 2006, looks like 2008, has qol features of 1999. and that in 2021. i am sure that they are even more confident now that they can sell what ever product one could squeeze out with minimum effort and still market it in a profitable way.
I hope they do, give me AoM DE with the same quality as aoe2 DE and I will gladly take it.i am sure that they are even more confident now that they can sell what ever product one could squeeze out with minimum effort and still market it in a profitable way. as long as they tag aoe on it. they did it with hd, aoe1de, aoe2de, aoe3de and now with aoe4. it sits perfectly in the middle of their marketing strategy and will result in future expansions (of similar quality).
