For me it's quite the opposite: I'm fairly impressed that TheViper is able to put up a fight against some of the top AoE4 players who have grinded the game for the past months non-stop.
Yeah that's about the right timeline. Think it might have been a full 2 weeks of AoE4 practice. I think he might continue to commit to AoE4 and see how far he can get in golden leagueI thought he would get utterly steamrolled. But he did all right. He got 1 set and 3 sets were close.
I haven't watched Viper since he moved to Facebook, but from what I know (from watching other GL members) he wasn't enjoying aoe4 much and was mostly playing aoe2 TGs, until 7-10 days before N4C.
Safe to say he wasn't in his best shape at all. Still didn't get stomped. So, good for him.
I hope he gets back to AOE2 soon.Yeah that's about the right timeline. Think it might have been a full 2 weeks of AoE4 practice. I think he might continue to commit to AoE4 and see how far he can get in golden league
I haven't seen Vipers comments since the new patch or his reactions to the new ranked seasons etc. He has always said the game has potential and not participating in a $125k league would be silly for someone who plays Age of Empires for a livingI hope he gets back to AOE2 soon.
On a Saturday, for semis, 7K viewers total in aoe4 now. The astroturf and pumping can only do so much.
Viper's heart doesn't lie, he didn't enjoy it. I doubt he enjoys it even now.
Viper becoming pro in 10 days of practice sounds like @Tiascai becoming pro in 6 months. Literally impossible. I think viper should have invested more time into this if he really wanted to win the sets.
125K is hard to ignore to be honest, so I also believe he should commit to AOE4. Best scenario for me, he wins some money then spent it on AOE2 tourney hosted by his channel.Yeah that's about the right timeline. Think it might have been a full 2 weeks of AoE4 practice.
