Koreans get insane siege onagers, war wagons, and bombard towers. If against cavalry, they have halberdiers. If against eagles, they have champions or hand cannons. If against anything else, the war wagons and siege onagers will deal with them. And they push with BBTs on the sides.
It's difficult to survive long enough with Koreans, but if you do, pretty much nothing can stop onagers+wagons+halbs/hcs. Even Saracens with mamelukes+onagers are going to suffer.
Any civ with siege onagers is considered as good. Koreans just have the best siege onagers in the game. Now in AoFE though, they have competition with the Celts, Teutons, and Slavs.
Easily countered by Korean hand cannoneers. Sufficiently massed, they counter everything the Goths can train from the barracks (except for condottieri, if they're allied with the Italians).
WWs are really good units. They plain simply rape all other ranged units. Their attack is enough to damage onagers-cannons while their hitpoints helps them survive several hits. One of the very few ranged units that beat HScorpions.
However they can't beat all units and their firepower isn't enough to stop eagles.
SOnagers are the best, and WWs are the best to protect them.
Halbs and Champs and HCannons fill the arsenal.
On closed maps, they are beasty. I remember a BF game, I was huns and Korean enemy went plain simply WWs+onagers. They needn't anything else to kill me, not even trebs.
