It was a trick question. Anyone who enjoyed the discussion won.

over the video in your initial post
How are we gonna get all the sweet sweet anger clicks then?!?!Yeah, to be honest I would also frame it differently. I personally, would remove the "versus" part and the debate part overall and create a basic discussion with different opinions and a moderator replacing the versus with an &.

I was aiming for a very mild debate with a lively discussion. Some friction to get some hard-hitting points out but ultimately just a good convo between old friends.I enjoyed the video, but I didn't really think of it as a debate, rather just a discussion (which I think is a good thing!)
It was actually supposed to be & and not vs. Your commented reminded me to fix that so thank you.Yeah, to be honest I would also frame it differently. This example would have been interesting to bring up at the time. I wasn't aware we had somewhat of a case study already from CSGO.Nice, had no idea about all this. The last few points were pretty interesting especially, and I didn't really agree with Nili and masmora's thoughts about tournament over-saturation. If anybody is familiar with the CSGO scene, you'd know that too many tournaments in a short period of time have had a really negative effect on player motivation and viewership, especially in the 'online era'. A lot of players have been forced into taking large breaks from events because they are too burnt out by the constant back-to-back tournaments. It affects performance in-game too. Obviously AoE isn't quite on that level yet, but it may slowly approach it in the future
If you are a viewer and want to watch absolutely everything, it is of course too much. But any player can decide to play or not play and take a break for some months.Nice, had no idea about all this. Either my sarcasm detector is off, or you claim to have watched the "nice discussion" but missed the first 10 minutes were masmora was well introduced?Nice discussion. Who is this masmora guy though? I certainly know nili, but have never seen the other guy before!
