So to start with I just want to say that the point of this thread isn't just to point out players who are playing quite well, just players that are playing better than anyone expected them to.
And to give them a shout out that they defiantly deserve.
So for me, there are three players that I feel have played extremely well for their teams are as follows: Juan(Argentina A), Miguel(Brazil B) and Pike(Finland).
Juan because he seems to just be playing extremely smart, some of his booms and paladin floods have been so well executed it is kind of scary to watch. While his Spanish play has easily been the best I've seen so far in the tourney.
Miguel, without any question seems to be carrying his team more often then not when ever he is in the game. The one islands game against Finland, was legitly awe inspiring. Yes he had a great map, and yes Zuppies was ****, but I agree with RA Zuppis map just would not have mattered all that much, Miguel was playing way to well. Then there was some of his pocket play against Germany vrs the sling, not only keeping his flank alive and Eco intact but also matching Skittle tooth and nail.
The last player for me is NorthernPike mostly the games against Brazil, the islands game holding 2v1 in feudal and even pushing brah and Dog back. To the excellent transition from sling to army helping his flank push brazil back for a very well earned win against brazil. (those bbt's were so smart)
-And a shout out to him and Luffis some of my favorite commentators in the NC.
Anyway those three players for me have been who i would consider the underdog hero's for their respective teams.
All i can say is keep it up, and I cant wait for more excellent games in this so far amazing Tournament.
