Duh, Rams. Even Capped Rams and every civ has Capped. Hell, I think Bombard Towers do less damage to Rams than Keeps because while both do only 1 damage per shot, Keeps fire 3 times faster.
If you've got enemies protecting a Bombard Tower, get a damn Treb.

just notice the dmg taken by a treb when facing bbts. :lol:
Rams are 2nd best option, 'cause it also means you gotta protect 'em, so your ''bodyguards'' are vulnerable to the towers. Trash may not work well, 'cause if vs bbts, that means the guy's got eco, so his gold units will rule(champs at the very minimum).
+your civ may not get Srams. Everyone gets trebs.

In age of kings i think they took 120 damage from bbt though (dont quote me on this but they did huge damage for sure)

You are quite correct, I think it was 2.0a patch where bombard towers were considered as "melee damage" so the rams high piercing armor was ineffective. Made bbt very OP, so they nerfed them. I guess realistically a cannon hitting a ram would destroy it, but fairness > realism amirite?
