Competitively - Halo 3 for sure
Felt the same until BF3. Nothing has come close since.

Download the program dosbox, you can play any dos game with it easily.I used to love this game called Fatal Racing. Best racing game I ever played. Game was launched in 1995 lol.
I searched several times whether I can download it, but i cant since it was made for MSDOS :'(
Syphon filter.
I dont enjoy nowadays videogames, probably it's me (but i have some doubts since some shits like Call of Duty are considered good games),. Sure there are some great games out there still
My all time favourites:
Zelda Ocarina of Time: Yeah, it an obvious choice, but is the only game that i felt more than a game and it remain in my soul. The fun, the music, the poetic on it, i still remember everything, some things that i couldnt understand as a child earned value later. Probably OoT created everything of what a solo adventure can be
Super Mario Kart (SNES): I think it was the best balanced racing game ever. It could be fun for casual players but it got a really big learning curve and the track design was amazing. Best example why less (specially well designed less) is more (all next Mario Kart failed in adding lots of elements and luck factor, yeah the last one is fun but this was the best)
Smash Bros (all of them): My favourite game serie, specially multiplayer. Console games fun should remain at home, best multiplayer experiences are the local ones
I also really like Arx FatalisAoc
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind -absolute masterpiece imo, you can spend countless hours on it
Skyrim just has inferior poorly written story line compared to previous Elder Scrolls. Otherwise it's a good game, mod it and it's one of the best games of this century.Skyrim - by far the best game I have ever played and definitely the game I've invested the most time in by some distance. Incredible. I wish I had played Morrowind and Oblivion when they originally came out. I tried to play Oblivion after a couple of years of Skyrim and it was only disappointing because of the graphics and gameplay differences. Morrowind looks clunky as hell now, but I fully understand how people can find it to be a masterpiece. It's just been ruined for me by playing Skyrim first.
I still have gamecube and Super Smash Bros Melee :D great way to have some fun with friends: Melee, a couple of beers and good music. Tho I think I'm kinda rusty these days, I should practice :ugeek:Smash Bros (all of them): My favourite game serie, specially multiplayer. Anyways you would have been super disappointed in some of Skyrim's quest lines after Oblivion. For example Dark Brotherhood was complete bollocks in Skyrim, Mages Guild was a huge joke and don't get me even started with the Companions.
