i search for this question, and believe me more dpi is more sensitive micro, my setting is max dpi in mouse software settings and slow speed in control panel mouse settings,I would ask some noob question, if anyone knows to explain good: Why higher mouse DPI is so popular in gaming?
I dont think a mouse is gonna help you win more games. Halen, Koven, Grunt (all the good asian players from before) played with a rollerball. Kmkm won WCG with a rollerball........
To be frank, I vehemently disagree about the bold part. Of course skill and understanding of the game will prevail, but that is not to say the mouse is of little importance. I have distinct movements that I expect from my mouse at any split second, which is probably not a big deal to an average player. To me it is, however. If it fails to perform as I have imagined, what use is it for me. I have also used the old fashioned mice you brought up. They were alright in their heyday, but it was a mess cleaning them. The game has advanced drastically since '00-'02. Look no further than micro in those days.I dont think a mouse is gonna help you win more games.
