Kkab's post was both inspiring and depressing, something I hope many of the other posters in this topic both read and appreciate.
From my perspective, I have played more aoc in this past couple months than I have in a long time. As a player, this tournament has kept me more excited than I think I ever have been during all these years in aoc. With all of these long hours of training and playing DM, I am sure Wayne (RaGE) and I will give any tyrant team a tough fight in the rounds coming up 8-)
That being said, when kkab wroteAfter read about it. we are thinking remove that DM next tourney.
And
I will suggestions to admin pause tournament. I don't know what's good or not. But i think we need to discuss about situations with staff and our founder.
It really depressed me. For someone like Kkab to have reached this conclusion says enough about how this community has shown it's love for the generosity of this tournament's sponsor, staff and players.
It's time for us to get a grip on things and let more of the positives be heard: This tournament is awesome, the sponsor is AMAZING and Taff is da man.
Give a +1 if you agree!

A lot of you are talking about respect. There is a huge amount of respect for admins and sponsors for making these events happen and credit is given where its due. But what most of you is asking for is to have blind faith and not point out when something so blatantly obviously wrong has been done and favoritism is there. Blind faith is exactly what is asked in religion (any religion) and dictatorship. Sorry but I can not do that. IMO any rational human being can not have blind faith in anyone.
@jinxed: read the rules & settings again (like you should have many many times by now), use a calculator if needed and attend 6th grade maths class. Not gonna say more.
Hf spreading crap until I'm back in a few hours.

You are completely right here, but that's not what this is about. As you just shown, people can add their thoughts in order to aid the current/future tourneys. That's great.
Asking admins to get their heads checked, accusing them of being bribed and other immature and un-called for comments I've seen in this thread, are not however. **** like that hurts when you put all your spare time into making this happen.
Sorry but I did not do it. I am not asking for getting their head checked or whatsoever. It is just that there has been no real explanation why KGB is seeded higher than SY. When asked for explanation either you get crap replies or a one line response that hold your own tournament, this is our tourney and we will do as we please.
I don't wanna question the sy/kgb case, but i think with that system the drama is kinda expected, tbh. Imagine UEFA Champions League if the groups or even worse matches in later stages would be picked from uefa members based on subjective criteria, we would have a **** storm every year.
Why not just make it random? It works for 700+ mio € tournaments in football, why not for aoc?
put tyrants, sy and kgb in one bowl
l clan, nabs, vns and poz in the other and let katsuni (<3) draw it live with webcam
just my 2 cents

But who cares about logic here, time wasted.Warlords lost 1 game in Group Stage, didn't lose any in Double Elimination (they played 4:0 against VNS and 4:0 against zZ) - their current score is 27:1. SY lost 3 games in Group Stage, lost another 4 in Double Elimination vs VN* and PoJ - score 25:7. Legends - 27:1. KGB - 27:5.
1. disrespecting and immature people like genette should never ever be let administrate anything whatsoever. he is a shame to this community.
2. "go host your own tourney", "respect the spponsor" etc. >> these pseudo arguments are completely irrelevant in this case. not agreeing with their decisions does not make us ungrateful towards the sponsor. we love what he does. and when he does something questionable, we ask questions. the job of the people he appointed as admins of this tourney should be answering those questions.
3. and therefore, the only problem for me is the admininstration's attitude towards criticism. sy b can be seeded 4th and it's ok. but when asked, your job is to explain why. instead you're just insulting the critics. if taff just told how the seeding was done in a proper way most of this could have been avoided.
