I would expect no borders people to keep their doors unlocked all the time and house at least one immigrant family. That would be minimum requirements to be taken seriously. Otherwise it is just empty virtue signalling.
1k2 argument. There are obvious differences between a house and a country.I would expect no borders people to keep their doors unlocked all the time and house at least one immigrant family. That would be minimum requirements to be taken seriously. Otherwise it is just empty virtue signalling.
Which is why, those, who seriously demand open borders consequently have to be in favor of a new socio-economic-political system, which reduces the existing inequalities in the world. With the great wealth inequality around the world it's almost natural for people to want to migrate to richer area's.
Wealth in capitalism is based on the free market. If you got an awesome product that no one else can make you can ask a lot of money. How is that exploiting the poor?
The other important difference is that on country level you can make bad decisions and take risks on behalf of others without bearing personal consequences for a long time.1k2 argument. There are obvious differences between a house and a country.
And there are no borders between, let's say Berlin and Bavaria (although they are quite different in wealth, language, religion and culture ...); nonetheless probably only few people in Bavaria have a Berlin family living on their couch, even, if they are against a border between Bavaria and the rest of Germany ...
the famous Weißwurstäquatorborder between Bavaria and the rest of Germany ..
What does such socio-economic-political system look like?Which is why, those, who seriously demand open borders consequently have to be in favor of a new socio-economic-political system, which reduces the existing inequalities in the world.
Just on a side note: There are also big economic inequalities within the European Union, and yet, there are de facto no borders.
Maybe that is a question worth thinking about? What does such socio-economic-political system look like?
You avoided my question ergo I assume you have no definitive answer.Maybe that is a question worth thinking about?
As is well known, there are exceptions. The most prominent example is probably Israel. For there there are indeed still external enemies who would like to see its inhabitants dead today instead of yesterday. From the anarchist perspective, this border is also an artificially created and divisive unit, but in today's world, in which (extermination) anti-Semitism still exists, it is unfortunately (still) a mere necessity as a protective measure.
You assume correctly. You avoided my question ergo I assume you have no definitive answer.
i feel you brotherI prefer to use my brainpower on perfecting the m@a into archers BO.
That new socio-economic-political system comes naturally with the removal of borders, for without borders companies tend to employ the cheapest available work force, which is usually the same as those who are poor. Their actual living increases as long as there are no obstructions or limitations to global capitalism.Which is why, those, who seriously demand open borders consequently have to be in favor of a new socio-economic-political system, which reduces the existing inequalities in the world.

There will never be a completely pure capitalism as long as there are countries and governments. Perfect capitalism however is per se the same thing as perfect competition. The competition is a very real and basic element which applies truly on a free market.Theres a difference between capitalism and perfect competition
I dont think perfect competition will ever be possible, as there will always be transaction costs / asymmetric information. There will never be a completely pure capitalism as long as there are countries and governments. If there's no governments but there's worldwide companies then those are pretty much the government => they decide all the rules. This is called communism. There will never be a completely pure capitalism as long as there are countries and governments. Perfect capitalism however is per se the same thing as perfect competition. You seem to assume a lot more than "only" open borders (unified legislation, absence of brute-force, etc.). Still this version of "perfect" global capitalism will end with one person owning the world. That new socio-economic-political system comes naturally with the removal of borders, for without borders companies tend to employ the cheapest available work force, which is usually the same as those who are poor. As long as theres imperfect information, firms (companies / governments) exist. Which means, distribution of wealth / resources is not purely based on individuals productivity. On the other hand, when theres perfect information, every individual knows one anothers productivity. Firms would not exist as no one can make a "profit" from being the middleman. If there's no governments but there's worldwide companies then those are pretty much the government => they decide all the rules. This is called communism.
Please study some elementary economics; I see your thought process but it doesn't really pan out.As long as theres imperfect information, firms (companies / governments) exist. Firms would not exist as no one can make a "profit" from being the middleman.
And no, thats not called communism.
EDIT:
In a scenario of perfect competition (perfect information), there will be neither governments nor laws. Every individual will make deals with one another individually. People can do whatever they want as long as they pay for the cost (eg. compensating others with money / beating everyone up).
2. Extreme far right anarcho-capitalism - which would result in mass civil war and fractioning of peoples into companies - probably eventually returning to a world with nations and borders after much chaos. (imagine how horrible life was under the worst dictator like Stalin, then try and imagine life so bad that they would dream of returning to life under such a leader - this pretty much sums up what such a world would be like)
