if you upgrade over the "modified" executable, its changes are always undone so I don't know what can be called a pre-patch exe. I thought the given offsets (and even opcodes) were enough... note we don't talk about upgrading from v1.0c here, but a typical upgrade between every userpatch release.Hi StepS; the pre-patch exe is needed to know what to look for during update processing. The post-patch exe is missing important details. If you have time, please upload your pre-patch exe (not 2900KB). Sorry for the trouble
The game's code is exceptionally optimized in certain places (the graphics, in particular), while other parts of the code are the opposite, with unnecessary network data logging code that should have been discarded for release, and dozens of functions that should have been inlined, among other things. Unfortunately, the engine wasn't designed with multi-core systems in mind, which is natural for a game from over a decade ago, so newer computers don't help as much as would be expected after so many years. One last question: With the late-game lag is it possible to reduce it or is it something restricted by the games dated engine?
