But they can't get last armor because cheaper knights would become OPPoles would've been better off with normal hussar and plate barding.
lolArabia
: Cliffs and water oases have been removed.
I like this patch overall but I really, really, really; really, really hate this mechanic. Just ignoring armor like the Leitis would have been fine. ****.Effect : each hit removes +1/+1 (both armors) to the opponent unit, forever (or a very long time)
The bohemian UU have the same mechanic than rams and onager. Both new civs actually seem very interesting. Their castle units just are awful, and the unique building of the poles could have been solved in a better way than introducing freakin auras (well bohemian UU has an aura too...)
Im honestly surprised they even work on the engine.
Well looks like they really want us to play other RTS games.
Except in every single video game community the people who do the most complaining are the ones least likely to leave the game.I just had a guy apologize to me when he played the bohemian UU against me.
Voobly gets more attractive by the hour
This is because as it relates to video games people tend to complain the loudest when they care the most. If they didn't care they would just go do something else silently rather than spend their time saying things about the game. This feels like a personal attack on those people.Except in every single video game community the people who do the most complaining are the ones least likely to leave the game.
It's like people who have a supossedly horrible relation with their wife/husband, all day bad mouthing them when talking to friends. But they're still gonna be married for 40+ years because in reality it's just their anger and their own problems doing the talking.
Exactly, in every community they're the ones who care the most, even though they constantly paint the game as the complete opposite of what it is (by their own standards, they're the ones who love it the most). This is because as it relates to video games people tend to complain the loudest when they care the most. Oh if you are saying people who criticize it heavily should stop playing DE so much I agree because it becomes like an addiction then. But sympathy for the condition of wanting to love DE as a product while being forced to cope with the pile of trash it actually is seems warranted. And remember that saying negative things doesn't mean you don't care. If something you love is in terrible condition it serves you no purpose nor is reasonable to expect you to pretend otherwise.Exactly, in every community they're the ones who care the most, even though they constantly paint the game as the complete opposite of what it is (by their own standards, they're the ones who love it the most).
Criticism of DE isn't only welcomed, it's very much needed. Especially when on the other side there's a massive corporation like Microsoft. Painting the game as crap while you actually love it (and keep playing daily) is not only hypocritical but it isn't conducive to the betterment of the game or the community either, as it usually happens with any type of fanaticism.
Is pointing at this an attack? Maybe, maybe not, I guess it depends on the eye of the beholder.
Besides I'm not saying it's them doing it (my memory is utter crap, I usually can't keep track of names lol), I'm sharing my observation on the phenomenon and how people leaving ain't actually happening.
But the whole point is that it isn't a pile of trash, especially (and ironically) not so to the people who call it that. But sympathy for the condition of wanting to love DE as a product while being forced to cope with the pile of trash it actually is
From an emotionless objective perspective it is not unreasonable to call DE a pile of trash, even if such language could fairly be considered harsh in tone. But the whole point is that it isn't a pile of trash, especially (and ironically) not so to the people who call it that.
They also nope out of completely reasonable criticism or really any sort of substantial genuine engagement with the community they seem to have no problem saying is great and important to them anytime they want to sell something to it.That type of criticism is fanatical and doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help the interaction with the devs, who will rightfully nope out of it. It doesn't help the community either, not only does it limit interaction with the devs but it also creates an aggressive atmosphere out of emotions and zealotry.
The first step is always admitting you have a problem. From a logical point of view calling a game you love and play hundreds/thousands of hours "a pile of trash" is... really beyond words.
That just shows a lack of character from you and the people that liked those posts.their anger and their own problems doing the talking.
What do you mean?I'm sharing my observation on the phenomenon and how people leaving ain't actually happening.
Unlike you I didn't say anything about you personally. Since you're responding this way I guess you're feeling represented by my descriptions though. You just called my criticism "fanaticism" and justify it as
That just shows a lack of character from you and the people that liked those posts.
Also I spend quite a bit more time on voobly than DE so just randomly claiming that I was hypocritical and in reality played DE every day is plain bullshit.
Fanaticism is when you support something because you spent a lot of time on it.Treating the game you love most and play daily as if it was pure trash is textbook definition of being fanatical.
Dedicating time of your life everyday to know the ins and outs of the game, watching and following the competitive scene, pondering and discussing balance, knowing every single little thing about it, as well as playing for hundreds of hours... and then calling it trash is nonsensical to the point of insanity.
The graph shows that we have more players than the year before (or at least similar). So he is right. The decline during the summer season seems normal if you compare it to the months before.
But why is that so? If they cant fulfill their tasks then get more people. Not every decision should be carried by general sympathy for the people that work 10h a day for the game developpment directly and in detail. The graph shows that we have more players than the year before (or at least similar). I don't get why every change or new DLC has to be trashed by some people. We get it, you don't like new stuff being added. I'm not a huge fan of it either, but I wouldn't criticise it until I know how it plays out. And my first impression is that the new civs have some interesting new mechanics, but they are not game-breaking and the civs have clear weaknesses. And most of the balance changes lately were reasonable (not saying everything was). At least it shows that the devs are listening to feedback.
If you watched Masmoras latest video interview with Cysion, he said that they are involved with AoE IV and I guess this means they have fewer people working on AoE II DE atm.
