Besides that, with a demografic change in here in Germany, it is realy not that bad for us to get some joung people here. If we can integrate them in our society, it is a huge win for us.

This is one of the most awkward argument for immigration. So what if European population is stagnating or decreasing? It will not decrease forever. It is just natural circle. Demographic line can not just raise until infinity. It has to drop from time to time, it is more or less close to sinusoide.Besides that, with a demografic change in here in Germany, it is realy not that bad for us to get some joung people here. And, to get back to the topic, if you (or Germans in general) are so in favour of accepting refugees from outside Europe, why do you have such a distaste for Britain leaving an organisation that is structurally biased against them?

Back to topic is maybe a good point :D Since I entered the discussion, it was manly about germany and accepting refugees. But I guess the logic behind it is clear:
We see that their is a need to help those refugees. We want our country to take it's part in it, but it would make things easier, if other countries help as well. The "distaste", at least on my part, is against this arrogant and selfish "I don't care about them, they are not my people = Let them die in their civil war" thinking of some here and apparently quite a lot of those who voted for Brexit.
It is distaste against racismus and the "all muslims are terrorists" attitude.
Give them the option to seek refuge at the price of assimilation. They must endeavor to learn the local language, respect local customs, get involved with the community and most importantly respect the nations laws.

If you disagree with this, then ask yourself this. Would Middle Eastern countries let Western refugees maintain their cultural freedoms and expressions. Woman free to dress as they please, equality for the genders, recognition of LBGT rights, sex before marriage, alcoholic venues etc.

 exactly, but NO! Western countries must accomodate the sandpeople's ways and rights to yalla 5 times a day etc.
Turn it the other way around like you said, not going to happen, so why should we accomodate the sandpeople?

I don't know, maybe because civilized countries have something called freedom of religion? I find the "would these countries let you do that"-argument so weird. No they wouldn't. But why in the world should we emulate those countries? That's a terrible idea lol.
Obviously you have to work hard to integrate them, that means language courses etc. and of course it has to be made clear that anything that goes against the law is not tolerable, even if it's something their culture doesn't have a problem with.
But regardless of what you think of Islam, as long as they're infringing on someone else's rights they can do what they want. If churches are allowed to ring their bells, there is no reason to ban muezzins from making their calls.
Perhaps some of you should refrain from posting anything about refugees, immigrants, etc. before reading something on human rights and the rule of law.
And of course this does not have much to do with Brexit.
Human rights - universal phrase for abusing civilized world. There are rights and then there are duties. You can not separate them. And since many people fail to understand that, I consider your argument invalid.Perhaps some of you should refrain from posting anything about refugees, immigrants, etc. before reading something on human rights and the rule of law.

Please provide some details 8-)
This is completely irrelevant. Human rights in Europe need to be respected according to ECHR. The situation in Saudia Arabia is competely irrelevant. And fyi we are talking about human rights, not muslim rights or christian rights, so someone's religion is irrelevant.-How come that rich Saudi-arabia doesn't seem to be willing to take those refugees that are mostly muslims?
This is equally irrelevant. States parties to the Geneva convention are under an obligation to accept refugees and under Geneva, ECHR and EU law they cannot send them to a non-safe country. Many countries in the EU are very reluctant to take refugees, e.g. those in the eastern part.
The whole discourse on 'people that never had a proper job' is pure populism as if being a politician is not a real job. It is very damaging to the democratic fabric of a society.-Merkel and many of those "that never had a proper job" just want to distinguish themselves as nice guys that are open to all people. I really doubt that they are willing to act according to the will of their own people.
-I agree with scotia that not all of them are real refugees, some of them just want to be able to live at the standards of western europe. This is not a human right, so gg them.
-If Saudi arabia really wants to fund these mosques, they should consider taking more refugees instead. At the same time if you know what sorts of people are in control there (some still claiming the earth to be flat lol), one cannot expect that.
No it is completely contrary to human rights. Again we are talking human rights not christian rights. That some east-european countries have difficulties with this does not detract from their obligations and just shows that these societies are not as mature as those in western europe.-Some country (I think Austria or so) initially only wanted to take only christian refugees, and I think this is actually a good practice.
