UK Cup I

Hello,

I was interested in hosting a fairly straightforward 1v1 tournament for UK players (those who identify as UK players for the purposes of AoC events anyway). It would be a double elimination tournament following a BO3, G1 Dry Ara, G2 loser HM, G3 winner HM format, going up to BO5/BO7 for the semi finals and finals.

I'd also put a little prize money up, around $250/£150 or something like that. I'll go ahead if we get at least 16 sign ups, would increase prize money if we get more, and will formalize the settings if we do hit at least 16. Hoping to start on the 1st Sept and finish at the end of September, scheduling should be easy and the sets won't be massively long.

So to gauge the interest, just post here to let me know you'd wanna play. Skill level doesn't matter and everyone is welcome, although I hope a few of our better players do sign up.

Back on topic, I will consider entering, but September might be awkward for me to commit to scheduling stuff, especially as Nations Cup will still be ongoing. I'll see how things develop.

Because my computer was broke for voobly so i just bought a new one and now it is fine ! But yes i will do that .

If they're American citizens it should be fine? Either way I think they should pick one or the other and stick with it for future events.

Just to clarify.

Both Feanor and Melkor are American citizens with passports, while they are also Irish citizens.

We have allowed them to join team USA this year, but they will not be allowed to switch again.

While it is rare to have players eligible for two nations, we don't want players picking and choosing for each event, so rules will be in place for future Nations Cups that we run.

I hope that helps to clarify.

As far as I'm aware you guys chose to go with the US? Let me know if that's changed.
