Today my team lost in the knock-out stage so I feel it's the right time to write this.
I've played in very few AoC tournaments so far but I remember many as a spectator and I can say that the amount of work our first time host Ereon is putting into this small tournament with no serious monetary prize or coverage is truly awesome. He was literally present in the room of every single series that's been played in any round. Always helping with the settings, even posting up the remaining possible matches for the lazier players during the match. He's also posting up all the recs himself, refreshing the calendar, helping in scheduling on a daily basis etc. It's sad we have had so many AWs but he's actually doing all he can to prevent it. Before the tournament started he put together all the pools and consulted everybody what they think, which pools should be picked etc. He's very open to any suggestions from competing players, always ready to make small changes on the go to avoid any drama or unfairness. I can't imagine how many hundreds of hours it will add up to by the time the tournament finishes.
So to sum it up: Ereon I hope you host many more (arena) tournaments in the future because you are doing an amazing job!
