I think its a nice tour untill now. Mostly battle for green jersey from first to 9th stage, and i think Sagan will take it.
Too bad Tony Martin had that fracture today and has pulled off. I think Froome will mantain the yellow jersey with Nairo Quintana second and Contador third.
Sky is too good of a team, and Richie Porte will make a difference for Froome.
I dont think Contador is at his best, since we ran and won la Vuelta a couple of months ago.
Tour de France is for me nothing else than the Tour de Doping. I used to enjoy watching competitive cycling, especially if they came through our town. But after all those Doping issues some years ago i don't think that only a small minority is Doping. It's kinda impossible to survive the tour with this speed.
I don't understand how people can enjoy collective cheating, or maybe i'm just too realistic to enjoy this sport.

You have too many prejudices and too little actual knowledge of the sport, or the rest of the sports for that matter because Cyclism is probably the cleanest sport in the world for at least a decade now.
You said, you used to enjoy watching the sport some years ago. You enjoyed it probably because you didnt know they were doped I guess, the further you go back in cyclism history the darker it is, or do you think Indurain, Hinault or Merckx won all what they won completely clean? They barely had any means to control doping in that era, and despite that Eddie Merckx was fined and suspended for doping in 1969. And he is still considered (with justice) the greatest of all time.
Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) are everywhere in sports and real life, if you diss cyclism for it, would be hypocritical not to diss other sports or athletes for them, like:
- Lionel Messi: The only reason why Messi is a professional football player in the first place is because he took some drugs as a kid to develope his body, 'cos he had growth hormones problems. If manmade drugs wouldnt had intervened, Messi would be like 1.45m tall with no strength whatsoever to play anywhere near pro level.
- Tiger Woods: This guy got his sight fixed with laser technology to have a perfect 20/20 vision ... in a sport that bases pretty much everything in having a good vision. If that is not a performance enhancer I dont know what it is.
- NBA: "Under the NBA policy, NBA players face no random testing at all once they complete their rookie year. They are only tested once each year, during their one-month training camp. The policy also fails to cover a vast number of drugs. There are literally dozens of steroids and stimulants that are outlawed in Olympic competition that are still legal for use in the NBA. The policy fails to cover performance enhancers such as human growth hormone or EPO. And it fails to cover designer steroids.”
But yeah ... Tour de Doping
You are 100% right I remember when Indurain won his first Tour, the Tour before that one, he was an average cyclist, then his muscle mass was a lot bigger in the year of his first win, it was impossible to get that good in a normal way after only one year, if something the Tour now is cleaner than ever, some years ago they were doping all the way, now it is not that easy.
Now doping have never been that performing and so much harder or just impossible to detect.
Very cute to still believe that it is getting clean - it is just that now antidoping are unefficient. Very nice sport i believe, but saying it is clean or the cleanest sport it is or super cute or silly, sorry. If you close your eyes on something it doesn't mean it is not here anymore
edit: dont want to hurt fans, but it's just a reality in sport, not only cyclism, have grown in it. From kid/amateur/pro, it's here everywhere.

In that case don't watch any sport. Tour should be fairly clean nowadays with them being heavily monitored, most other sports can get away with a lot more without getting noticed.

Same story for every professional sport. Don't be naive.

I admit that i haven't watched it lately since that huge disappointment. But if you seriously believe that this Sport is the cleanest sport on the world, then enjoy believing that.
