I'm sure there's still a uselessly situational bonus remaining somewhere I'm not thinking of. But as it stands I think the Khmer not needing prerequisite buildings deserves a shout-out as a legitimate double-edged sword of a bonus. I've seen it cost pros countless games even in tournaments where they skipped the barracks and got killed by a scout-spearman composition they couldn't counter because they couldn't make their own spears.
