Only if manipulation is attempted. If I ask you if you want chocolate or strawberry icecream it's a pretty simple choice, if you don't like the strawberry flavor then you simply chose chocolate. No amount of simple manipulation could change that. The only time that manipulation can be prevalent would be if the participants don't understand what they are voting for.

As population (and micro) increase, ranged units become more powerful. This is a natural principle of every rts game I know of.
Fire ships can be beaten with demo ships. Don't go galleys if in low numbers. As long as the water triangle exists, there will be that minimum variety in ships. We can't define exact limits bro. But it is quite safe to say that the vast majority of water games in regular aoc are galley wars. Yea, small numbers you will see fireships but sooner or later if water has any importance, it will become war galleys and galleons.That is simply not possible.My idea of the goals and criteria of them are as follows:

In other words, if fires become viable in small numbers in this situation they will be viable as the sole unit in the army, meaning that fc=>fires will be the standard strat.
i would usually use the word tweak to refer to small changes. moving walls to castle age is huge, that's not tweaking.
This poll should have a third option of using the existing balance patch. It has already shown great results in tournaments and is supported by the top players. Seems weird that you woold try and make a new patch instead ofbuilding on the work that has already been done

I already mathematically explained how this marketwall is horribly expensive except for temporary/quick blocking. If it is so OP where is the saracen domination anywhere to be seen. The tourney is in it's last stages? And Viper smashing everyone with british m@a? Sorry he is smashing everyone with very good play, and he barely "smashed" bact's mayans.Carlos patch has not the support of the experts, i don't know from where those ideas come, chris already pointed how bad are those cheap markets from saracenz, thats a new cost effective wall, the viper is smashing everyone with british M@as, imagine if he picks celts or goths, whatever if you think players really like this balance patch why aren't they trying it at daily games or hosting games to give it a try.
The delay for gunpowder units was increased from 4 to 5 because of the nerf given to knights monks and xbows and the boosts for turks we have already made it easier to go fast imp HCs in the first place.Personally i tested his patch, the new initial delay in hand cannoners,as he called it, are the worst change at all and you will never find out in this BOP, with this new delay they become like skirms and i am sure all experiemnted players know how bad is to micro skirms vs melee units such as infantry or knights, so guess what with his patch its impossible and silly to do a simple hit and run vs champs, huskarl,woads,zekers and kths, the only usage they have now is to kill spearman line or having a meat shield, yeah he ruined this unit by his personal taste, but im sure you guys consider this like the best patch to go forward.
