so how is the safeness of tapwater related to preservation of nature? probably your soviet times water purification systems are just not good enough for our standards.
OMG you're back?Hopefully Turkey snaps out of the hole it's diving into, before it's too late.
It's going to be an ugly crash otherwise.

While we might still be called "democracy", the propaganda and corruption is becoming insane here. The government controls a huge portion of the media and brainwashing is everywhere. Almost every "news" from the government is a lie, but it seems lots of people can be fooled. My favorite was the hourly one minute news with 'everything is amazing here' and 'the government is the hero of the people' kinda news(lies).

There is a new kind of democracy rising. Call it the totalitarian democracy, or whatever you want. Its the absolute power of the majority, where the minority has a. nothing to say b. is marginalised by laws, intimidation, state controlled media news etc c. the majority secures its power by controlling the right buttons at elections. In name and in appearance a true democracy, but behind the scenes are sly and cunning people with thier own agenda. (which usually means: more power and money by means of mental manipulation of the crowd)
Fine examples today are 1. Russia 2. Turkey 3. Syria 4. Belarus 5. Kazachstan 6. A lot of african democracy's
A lot of countries are moving halfway towards these kind of democracy. Europeans too. USA if Trump ever made a chance. Who knows...
While old style dictatorships are done because of the power of social media, these governments know the power of the internet and media, and know how to deal with it.
+1 to all of the previously mentioned.
Democracy may be there in name, but the choices given to people are pre-determined. One is free to choose either A or B, but both result in the same private interest-directed outcome. It doesn't make a difference who you vote for, because they'll both serve those backing/supporting them.
Oh I thought it is quite opposite. "Minorities" like gays/trans/muslims/commies/ethnic minorities etc. are trying to push majority to accept their view of "stuff" and whoever disagree with any of their opinion(in any matter) is being called shovinist, nationalist, islamophobe, rusophile or any other fancy word just to marginalize their opinion. They are often supported by "third sector"(usually foreign paid idiots in charge of dividing people). Also largely supported by media and so called law which is only applied to native majority but never to minorities. While we might still be called "democracy", the propaganda and corruption is becoming insane here.
