One of the civs I have least ever understood is the Chinese. If you go to their page it lists under 'Bonuses' the following:
How is this a bonus at all. Starting with -200 and -50 more then cancels out any bonus you get with 3 more villagers. The Mayans in comparison get 1 more villager and a fair -50 food.
Anyone care to elaborate on this and as to what strength this 'bonus' gives the Chinese in the early game?
Start game with 3 extra villagers, but with -200 food and -50 wood
