Scoring
Each entry will receive points based upon accuracy of their predictions. The entry with the highest total at the end of the tournament is the winner. In case of a tie, the prize will be split among the winners.
Scoring will work as follows:
- For predicting the exact finishing position of a player, receive 3 points. For every position incorrect place per player 1 point gets deducted from the 3 points, with a maximum of 3. (e.g. Predicted player X to finish 2nd and player X actually does finish 2nd receive 3 points. If player X finishes the tournament in 1st or 3rd, you will receive 2 points etc.)
- For correctly predicting the total points of a player, receive 5 points. For every point off the predicted amount 1 point will be deducted, with a maximum of 5 points.
- For correctly predicting the game difference (Games won - games lost) of a player, receive 5 points. For every point off the predicted amount 1 point will be deducted, with a maximum of 5 points.
- For correctly predicting the top 4 players in order receive 8 points.
- For correctly predicting the top 6 players in order receive 16 points.
- For correctly predicting the top 8 players in order receive 24 points.
- For correctly predicting the top 12 players in order receive 40 points.
