2nd Group D (vs) 2nd Group A
Brazil B 2:3 Finland

3rd Group C (vs) 3rd Group B
China B 3:1 Germany A

4th Group B (vs) 4th Group A
Mexico B 0:3 China D ​

Duel Stage

The Duel Stage is to allow Nations the opportunity to switch sides on the brackets. Each Nation may only Duel another nation that finished in the same position and has the same color on the image below. So for e.g 2nd Group C can only challenge 2nd Group B , 3rd Group A vs 3rd Group D etc, as per image below. 1st Placed finishers ( black text ) are exempt from this Duel Stage.
The Duel match will only take place if one team challenges the other, if no challenge then the teams remain in current bracket spot.

The Duel Stage is to be played as a Bo5 in the following manner:

Game 1: 4v4, SY_Dry_Arabia, Hidden Civs
Game 2: 3v3 or 4v4, Home map of whoever lost Game 1 decides, Hidden Civs
Game 3: 3v3 or 4v4, Home map of whoever won Game 1 decides, Hidden Civs
Game 4: 3v3 or 4v4 (Losing Team decides), SY_Map_Pack, Hidden Civs
Game 5: 4v4, SY_Land Nomad, Hidden Civs

All Duel Stage challenges need to be requested by:

Tuesday 18th August 23:59 GMT.

If no challenge is requested by that time then the bracket positions will remain.

Please start scheduling. If no schedule is made or game played then Hong Kong will switch places with Japan A.

This seems like a mistake. Aren't they both responsible for scheduling? It seems like with this phrase HK could have a small range and force a bad situation on Japan..

No not at all, that was just a basic reply some teams may not want to play and just auto switch sides. The challenging team cannot make the schedule impossible for the other team. In effect getting a default win. In the same token, teams being challenged can't just avoid scheduling in the hope they don't play.

Because some teams challenge will affect other teams decision, it seems only allow the 4th and 3rd challege will be better.

UPDATE Duel Stage Rules :

The winners of each Duel match will earn the right to decide to switch bracket or remain where they are. All winners need to send a private message to the Voobly account by Sunday 23rd August 23:59 GMT.
