Completely off-topic, but can someone explain to me why people keep going on about the spectator chat? I dont understand what's so important about it tbhThe third remake of the game literally doesn't have spectator chat a year later.

It's really important for casting diplo games, which T90 used to do a lot and I think it's also brought up a lot because it's a clear example of a bug that should've been fixed a long time ago and where DE fails compared to the original game.Completely off-topic, but can someone explain to me why people keep going on about the spectator chat? People gotta stop them by not wasting their money on any DLCs that are released. That gets a big boost by pros and popular content creators like T90 not getting the DLC and telling their audiences not to get the DLC rather than getting the DLC and showing it off on stream while acting like it is normal to have it.Can the devs just focus on multiplayer before more civs that nobody wants ffs. Stop being so greedy and fix your game!!!
Sadly this is not going to happen.People gotta stop them by not wasting their money on any DLCs that are released. Of course not. But it is still good to acknowledge what needs to be done.Sadly this is not going to happen.
Doing the lord's work, as they say.I already Alt F4 if i face a new civ.
Maybe it is, but it's like industrial action, if I choose not to buy the new DLC, then I'm missing out on the new content, and noone else cares.Of course not. But it is still good to acknowledge what needs to be done.
The content is so low value you are not really missing out on anything but you are correct that the big content creators are the ones with influence to make a meaningful difference. That is why it sometimes gets a little tiresome to hear them make passive-aggressive comments about the state of DE as if there is nothing else they can do about it.Maybe it is, but it's like industrial action, if I choose not to buy the new DLC, then I'm missing out on the new content, and noone else cares.
If big content creators suggested a boycott until certain issues were fixed, I'd be down to support it but I'm a realist. Me "boycotting" doesn't change anything.
Well if only content creators were that independent, maybe it would work. GL needs to be cooperative because of aoe 4, t90 needs to be cooperative to take part in high stakes events. What happens if you just slam the hammer every time you don't like something? Those guys are balls deepPeople gotta stop them by not wasting their money on any DLCs that are released. Yeah money does eclipse love for the game at some point unfortunately.Well if only content creators were that independent, maybe it would work. Just come to voobly. no dodging, less lag, less ragequit and no civ picks.I just wanna play arabia only, just like I did in Voobly. Until then I will alt-f4.
Yes perfect go to voobly, along with anyone else who AltF4.Just come to voobly. no dodging, less lag, less ragequit and no civ picks.
I hope you are banned from matchmaking.I just wanna play arabia only, just like I did in Voobly. Until then I will alt-f4.
How less lag? Did they improve or change something in voobly? Last time I played, I enjoyed everything there except the annoying lag and some QoL which I got used to in DE.Just come to voobly. no dodging, less lag, less ragequit and no civ picks.
I think it has worse network lag but better application lag. DE does have relay servers but it also does not use system resources very efficiently. How less lag? Did they improve or change something in voobly? Last time I played, I enjoyed everything there except the annoying lag and some QoL which I got used to in DE.
Depends who you are playing with but if everyone has stable 200 ping which is for me everything but south america and australia then its definetely fine. I would say that lag is comparable to me playing on the korean server on DEHow less lag? Did they improve or change something in voobly? If two people team up. For sake of argument lets assume they actually do get an advantage. It is, it just gives you a huge advantage over those who don't (unless your team is terrible at working together of course 11) so the system should ideally only try to match you against others doing the same thing. I don't think it should really be used as a pejorative unless the people stacking are toxic in-game and/or doing so with the goal of stomping teams of outmatched randoms. Basically whether or not you queue hoping to get a fair game against another premade.
As long as they always play together, yes.If two people team up. For sake of argument lets assume they actually do get an advantage.
They keep winning matches to increase their ELO
At that point their "advantage" would be matched by their opponents who might be more mechanically skilled?
Thus their ELO would be at the right level, and thus the advantage they have places them at an appropriate difficulty of opponents?
When it's their main source of income, sure, that's part of life.Yeah money does eclipse love for the game at some point unfortunately.
