I might be risking an endless discussion here, but I hope to just get some opinions:
After not having played much Age for ~10 years, I started playing the HD version (but not Forgotten) on ingame/steam. I have played about 3-5 years competitively online after AoK/AoC was released but even then never had a rating significantly better than 1750-1800. On steam, I am up to 1850 after a few games, though I am probably not at the level I used to be at yet. My old Voobly account is somewhere at 1550, but I was not playing that much in 2007 or so when I created it. Is there a significant difference between Voobly and Steam ratings? What the delta roughly?
Also, I am already having difficulties finding 1v1 opponents on steam, and get kicked from many games because of my rating. Are there significantly more mid-range players (about 18xx steam) on Voobly?
I am travelling right now, but I think I might give Voolby another shot when I am back...
