These are games that I didn't see on the front page but are great in my opinion. I'm looking for suggestions as well.
Crypt of the NecroDancer at 67% off. $4.94
Great rhythm rouge-lite. Great soundtrack, the character selection offers a great deal of replayability. You can chuck your own music in the game if you want as well. Can be pretty frustrating but very rewarding. Hands down recommendation.
Firewatch at 40% off (lowest historical price) $11.99
Not sure if I should call this "game" a walking simulator or an interactive first person choose your own adventure movie. Art style and voice acting are both great and I feel like the devs deserve applause for doing something different and doing it so well. Price is still a little high so this is more of a so-so recommendation for me.
Shovel Knight at 34% off (lowest historical price) $9.89
I thought that I would be tired of games trying to cash in on the retro gaming movement by now, but Shovel Knight is very well executed. Great soundtrack, tight controls.
Kerbal Space Program at 40% off $23.99
I recommend this game at any price. If you are interested in space at all I think you should get it. If you aren't interested in space, you should probably get it anyway. It is one of the few arguments I can see for the early access business model for games. Build rockets, blow them up, learn about rockets, build a new rocket, try to land on the moon. Game can be extremely frustrating and daunting to new players but they've added a lot of features that make things easier. Landing on the moon and docking for the first time was hands down the most satisfying gaming experience I've ever had. Big update came out this month, great modding community. If you are having trouble, check out Scott Manly on Youtube. If we had a Scott Manly for AoC we would all be 2k.
