I think there have been similar posts on this before, but I wanted some advice on this. No doubt many of you have faced or used this tactic: choose spain in arabia or other land map, use their fast walling ability to render any flush useless, then make conquistadors in castle and wreak havoc against enemy army and econ.
Two questions:
Best way to prevent it?
Best management strategies/counters against conqs if the enemy is able to get them going?
I think the only viable way to stop them before walling is a drush...but its a fine line. I tried persian 4 min drush with success but I hate being more lame than the enemy. Any non-lamer ideas?
As to countering conqs themselves, I think you have to accept you will lose more units than them and just out-boom them or built better eco. Monks have been suggested, but I suck with them.
Would love to hear your suggestions
