Saladin Showdown

The city of Acre is besieged by 5 crusader armies. Can Saladin defend his Wonder against the onslaught, or will the combined might of their enemies be too much for the Saracens to overcome?

I've seen requests for a sequel to the Barbarossa Brawl, so I decided to make one myself. Here is the Saladin Showdown, based on The Lion and the Demon from the classic Saladin campaign. Take command of Saladin's forces and hold out as long as you can while defending Acre and its Wonder. I'm running a leaderboard for everyone to submit their playthroughs and compete to get the highest score.

Contest
I'm giving away 3 copies of the Dynasties of India DLC for players who earn a score of at least 40,000. To enter the drawing, record a video of your playthrough and upload it to the submissions thread by 23:59 GMT on May 8th. I'm having a 12 hour stream on May 9th during which I'll draw the winners. (If you already own the DLC, you can still enter the competition. You can show me the receipt from your purchase, and I'll reimburse you. I'll also continue updating the leaderboard after that date for people who still want to compete for high scores, just continue posting to the submissions thread.)

You cannot "cheat" while playing the scenario and must adhere to the following rules:

• Difficulty: Hard
• Speed: Normal
• No pauses.
• No saves.
• No cheats.
• Display the in-game score (press F4 to toggle it).
• Display the in-game clock and difficulty (press F11 to toggle it).

The scenario supports Standard and Moderate difficulties if you want to try them out, but Hard must be used for the giveaway.

To download the mod, I recommend searching for "Saladin Showdown" using the in-game mod browser and subscribing there. Alternatively, here is the link to the mod: https://www.ageofempires.com/mods/details/59441/
After subscribing to the mod, play the scenario by going to the campaign menu, clicking the Custom Campaign button in the bottom of the screen, and selecting the Saladin Showdown.

Reminds me of the Escape Event where we would try to reach the highest score on the Gamescom Challenge. In the end it came down to building as many buildings so you could spend your resources to get more points. Hopefully this event will be similar with some crazy optimizations!

@Noszombie Thank you again, I didn't give up because you showed me it was possible. I got the new high score so far but it probably won't count because I didn't record the game play
