Format and Settings
The Clash of the Titans tournament is going to be played on Age of Empires II: The Conquerors with the Userpatch 1.4 version.

It will consist of three stages: The Qualification Stage, The Final Qualification Stage and a Final Round Robin. There will be 128 open spots, where everyone will enter a Qualification Stage in order to earn a spot in the Final Round Robin to decide the Last Standing Titan. The Qualification Stages consist of Best of 3, Best of 5 and Best of 7 series, while the Round Robin will have 5 games played vs each opponent regardless of result.

Please note that the RM 1v1 - Ladder on Voobly will be important regarding seeding and being able to enter the tournament. Since there are only 128 open spots, the signed up players will be evaluated both on previous achievements, as well as their 1v1 RM rating as mentioned.

The Qualification Stage - Round 1:

Best of 3
Game 1: CoT_Map_Pack_v2 - Mirror Civilization

There will be a Topic dedicated to your specific matchup, and Immediately after two players have finished a match, both players are to rename his recorded games according to the rules and post them in your match topic. The Admins will then release the recorded games to the public with spoilers to avoid revealing the result.

If restoring is not possible, the recorded game should be provided, along with any additional information to the Administration of the Clash of the Titans instantly. Subsequently, facts will be analyzed and a final decision made.

#9. Once two players have arranged and confirmed a time to play, the maximum waiting time is 20 minutes. If one of the players fails to arrive, the waiting player must take a screenshot showing http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx (so the current time is clearly visible) with the Tournament Lobby Game Room, and post the screenshot in Admin Requests topic( viewtopic.php?f=780&t=94041), with a link to the post in the Scheduling forums where the game time was arranged and confirmed. This way, tournament admins will know how long the player waited and upon Admins decision, and the player that did not come might get an Admin Loss for the games. Do not try to edit time arrangement posts in an attempt to get free wins, because our forum registers the exact date and hour of each edited post. Such actions are considered cheating, and the offender will be punished according to rules.

The external operator must be added along the sign up post.

#13 By signing up for the tournament you agree to have all your games streamed and casted by the official streaming team of the Clash of the Titans through using the Spectator Mode on Voobly, brought by the Userpatch 1.4 version. The streams will always have a delay to avoid cheating, and no other persons are allowed to spectate your game besides the official streamers, or if persons are granted permission by the tournament Administration for a valid reason. There is no assurance of your games being streamed, but the possibility is there at all times.

#14 New rules can be added and current rules can be changed. However, Admins MUST inform the players about such changes in the Clash of the Titans Rules & Settings forum. All the latest additions in Rules / Settings will be in red.

Single Building Queue [SQ]
[linethru]Multiple Building Queue [MQ][/linethru]

#17. In the event of a no-TC start (Land Nomad, Nomad) - that is a start where players do not have Town Centers but only villagers:
a) the first buildings constructed must be either a Town Center or a Dock.
b) No Barracks, no Palisade Wall and no more than one House may be build until the first TC is up.
c) No TC fighting is allowed. If it happens the game must be replayed. Should the administration decide that a TC fight occurred intentionally, the player will receive an admin loss for that game.
d) No fighting is allowed until both player's TC is up.
e) If a player starts with a stuck villager he may decide to restart the game, but this must be said during the first 4 minutes. A restart requested due to a stuck villager does not count as one of the restarts awarded before a series.

#18. Restarts:
In a Best of 3 each player is awarded two restarts each.
In a Best of 5 each player is awarded three restarts each.
In a Best of 7 each player is awarded four restarts each.
In the 5 game series in the Round Robin, each player is awarded three restarts.

You may use no more than one restart per map. That means that if you've used one restart for G1, and still have a restart left, you are not allowed to use another restart for the G1.

A restart must be requested no longer than 4 minutes of game time after the start of the game(remember that this is shorter than real minutes). Games that are restarted must be included when posting recorded games of the match. When a game is restarted, the civilisations must be the same as in the previous attempt. If a restart is requested while playing the CoT_Map_Pack_v2, the map that was generated must be repeated by choosing the specific map that was played.

#19. If a player starts with a trapped villager, that means one or more villagers of that player are surrounded by objects and unable to leave that area. A player may request a restart within the first four gaming minutes by chatting explaining the situation and resigning. That game will be restarted and it will not count as the restart given to each player in #18. If a player lies about a trapped villager, they will receive an admin loss for that game.

#20. Any graphic changes that only affects the player's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors are allowed.

#21. Cheating is not allowed under any circumstances. Players doing any kind of cheating will be disqualified from the Clash of the Titans and banned from future AoCZone events, as well as the AoCZone forums.

#22. All the game settings provided in this post MUST be followed. Not following them may result in a penalties and in worst case disqualifications.

The amount of open spots have been extended to 128, and will be extended no further.
Therefore there is added an additional Qualification Round, but the tournament timeframe stays the same.

In addition, the sponsor has added another 1200$ to the prize pool to award 9th-16th with 150$ each for their achievement in the tournament.
