Match 1 - DyT v LKC
Prediction from last week (2-1).
Game 1
Map - Arabia
Civ Chosen - Hun Mongol Mayan v Hun Mongol Mayan
Flank 1 - Hun (DyT_Rodrigus) v Mongol ([LKC] KINNOKRACK)
Pocket - Mayan (DyT_KaiBa) v Hun (Lovepeaches)
Flank 2 - Mongol (DyT_Xanadu) v Mayan ([LKC] Iniquity)
Comments: KINNO steals sheep from Rodrigus. Rodrigus drushes, KINNO walls well to keep him off of economy. KaiBa goes forward archers on Lovepeaches, the drush from Rodrigus also goes to peaches. KINNO goes scouts and sends them to unguarded pocket. Rodrigus has walled by now and is drush->fc. Xanadu stone walls and makes skirms. Peaches castles anyway despite KaiBa’s forward. Iniquity and KINNO double KaiBa’s base to take out the spears with archers and hit with scouts. Forward having failed and no one in castle means DyT is far behind very early castle age. Rodrigus and KINNO both make CA. KaiBa has no way of getting the archers and skirms of Iniquity off of his base. Rodrigus tries to clear it out multiple times, but all in vain. In my opinion, game was over at 20 mins when KaiBa gets stuck in feudal age. Rodrigus raids KINNO with CA relentlessly. KaiBa finally gets out of feudal age at 33 mins. Rodrigus tries a hard push with seige on KINNO but gets pushed back. DyT seems to be the aggressors even though it is definitely 3v2. Iniquity sends plumes to Rodrigus’ base and kills many vils. DyT holds off well and keeps the game alive for quite awhile but eventually it is too much. LKC wins.

Game 2
Map - Migration
Civ Chosen - Viking Hun Japan v Viking Hun Japan
Flank 1 - Hun (DyT_KaiBa) v Hun ([LKC]Iniquity)
Pocket - Japan (DyT_Xanadu) v Viking ([LKC]KINNOKRACK)
Flank 2 - Viking (DyT_Rodrigus) v Japan (Lovepeaches)
Comments: Migration games are always so hard to comment on. No one really has a great start. All galley rush except Xanadu who fcs. Xanadu is first to take centre isle, but peaches is close to follow. The fights continue on sea for the edges. The middle explodes with Town centres all of a sudden but without much fighting yet. DyT takes advantage on sea but LKC seems to be controlling centre well. Some middle fighting occurs, but LKC seems to definitely take over centre and just a few scattered navies of DyT keep them in the game. LKC pins DYT back into the corner of the middle island and eventually there is no room left and DyT resigns. LKC wins.

Match 2 - SlipKn0T v Lone
Prediction from last week (2-1).
Game 1
Map - Arabia
Civ Chosen - Hun Mongol China v Hun Mongol Mayan
Flank 1 - Mongol (SlipKn0T_B1tch) v Hun ([Lone]Nola)
Pocket - Hun (SlipKn0T_P7aGu3) v Mongol ([Lone]Onanism)
Flank 2 - China (SlipKn0T_FeAge) v Mayan ([Lone]Sencha
Comments: FeAge tries to steal boar from Sencha and Sencha has to work to get it back but does so successfully. A very late boar taking by Nola leads to the boar being nicked by B1tch who ups quicker and goes scouts. Sencha goes full archer and FeAge goes skirm then arch. B1tch sends scouts to Onanism’s base and does damage on unprotected base. Sencha gets in trouble as FeAge gets in base and P7aGu3 sends knights for double. Game becomes a “counter game” where instead of all action being on left or right flank, it is a race to double and kill the flanks. Sencha is the Lone person to deal with double and B1tch is taking for SlipKn0T. P7aGu3 sends a few knights to help but mostly focuses on finishing Sencha. B1tch defends well and keeps damage to a minimum with help from a couple knights from P7aGu3. They then go forward to Nola’s base who has gone CA. With Sencha virtually dead and no way to catch up Lone says gg. SlipKn0T wins.
Civ Chosen - Hun Mongol China v Hun Mongol Mayan

Game 2
Map - Nomad
Civ Chosen - Vikings Persians Chinese vs. Vikings Persians Mayans.
Viking (SlipKn0T_P7aGu3) v Viking ([Lone]Onanism)
Persian (SlipKn0T_B1tch) v Persian ([Lone]Nola)
Chinese (SlipKn0T_FeAge) v Mayan ([Lone]Sencha)
Comments: Onanism Sencha and FeAge all make tc’s very close to one another. B1ch has pretty much a whole half the map to himself as does Nola. FeAge gets enclosed without many resources inside. P7aGu3 goes sea but gets trushed on land by Sencha. Sencha towers FeAge and P7aGu3. Both B1tch and Nola go fc and fight each other on land. Nola takes a losing knight battle on land that gets him a bit behind. Nola sends his knights to FeAge and focuses on economy because his gold is cut off after losing knight battle with B1tch. Sencha lays an aggressive castle as Nola booms. Water is not won by either, each team loses some fishies by enemy, but it looks like Slip has the advantage on sea. FeAge cannot really do much because of being trapped in the middle of everything. Sencha breaks into the walled base of P7aGu3 with plumed archers and rams. P7aGu3 takes a lot of damage, B1tch sends kts to help. Nola sends in camels and knights and FeAge is again absorbing most of the damage but P7aGu3 is too. On land, the advantage seems to be with Lone, but sea is won by Slip. B1tch gets to imperial and ups to cavs. The cavaliers pretty much tear up the plumed archers and force the attack to be drawn back. Onanism pushes on land with pikes and rams while in imp. B1tch pushes Nola hard with many many rams and cavs and halbs. Once Nola’s main defense castle falls, things look pretty bleak for Lone even though it is essentially 3v2. Nola gets swarmed by B1tch almost shutting off Nola’s economy entirely. Game cuts out right after a castle of FeAge falls and the most interesting part is coming up 11. Eventually, SlipKn0T wins.

Next Week's predictions:
Championship Match
SlipKn0T (1.6) v LKC (3.5)
||| 2-0 (1.9) ||| 2-1 (3) ||| 1-2 (4) ||| 0-2 (7) |||
SlipKn0T has been dominant this season and has yet to even drop a game. They look to end the season undefeated (would end 20-0). Their teamwork and great individual skill has brought them to the final and I think they will clinch the #1 title in a perfect 2-0 fashion.
3rd Place Match
Lone (1.7) v DyT (2.5)
||| 2-0 (5) ||| 2-1 (4) ||| 1-2 (4) ||| 0-2 (3) |||
Lone is disappointed by finally losing to Slip. I feel that Lone's schedule has been much more difficult and that they have demonstrated they deserve to be here. DyT though, did upset wW. But after losing to LKC, I feel they don't quite match up to Lone.
With only the finals left to go,
who will take the top slot? And who will win the gambling game?
Not many contenders left there at all 11.
Anyway,
Keep watching and thanks again for all the great games ^_^
