I am currently in Romania traveling and wondering if a follow aocer knows any nice or beautiful places to visit.
Maybe some nature areas or historic things, rather less touristic.
U can try along katsuni on his steam, but i can already see where that's going "Romania is a **** country and no one should ever visit" prob what he'll say 11
I was there for a week in last June, I'm afraid Romanians have turned everything they can as touristic as possible so prepare for that. I'd recommend checking out old town in Brasov (Bran Castle is quite boring tho), Castelul Peles in Sinaia and Corvinesti Castle in Hunedoara at least. A Dutch couple I met on my travels spent quite some time around and they recommended me checking out some parks around Cluj-Napoca. I believe that one was named Padurea Hoia-baciu.
Thanks for the recommendations! Yeah I have the same feeling, a lot got turned into a turistic way. Currently I am in Cluj-Napoca and it isnt so bad. Some nice bars and parcs as u mentioned, also quite a lot of students/young people.
But after all Katsuni is kinda right. Romania is a bit shitty, cause its the same old **** as I know it from Poland. Not much changes since 20-25 years, in a political way.
Probably I gonna check out the south transelvanian nature and some homebrew alcohol. The good stuff :D. Hear a lot of it, but forgot the name.
