After Melkor vs BacT's game during KotD I wrote swissboyy a message saying (among other things):
Swissboyy politely wrote back to me agreeing with me and saying he would have a word with Melkor. Don't know if he ended up doing it or not.
I believe Gman doesn't have any grounds to disqualify Feanor just because he cannot prove that Melkor was there telling Feanor what to do. And even if Melkor admits he WAS there during the games, we still don't know exactly what kind of information was exchanged between them. Innocent until proven guilty.
Personally, I'm 100% sure the irish/american brothers are good and honest people and I'm perfectly convinced Feanor's victory was his and his only. So all the credit to him for defeating such an amazing player as Slam.
Still there's no reason for him (or Melkor) to put himself in a situation where people could start raising suspicions.
...I was just now listening to the interview with Memb and Melkor and something caught my ears. Didn't want to mention it in public as doing so could create unnecessary drama.
At some point in the interview, Melkor says: "...but then my brother reminded me I didn't have the gold to afford fletching...".
I couldn't help wondering, well, what else did your brother (who probably was sitting right next to you during the whole game) remind you of? And since he has his own computer screen, did your brother by any chance give you information you shouldn't have during the games by watching a stream?
I know these kind of things are virtually impossible for you to enforce, but maybe a word with Melkor wouldn't hurt? At the very least he should be careful with those kind of affirmations as it could raise unfounded suspicions!...
