Is there anyway to delete and remove the last expansion civs? It is not just a waste of money but makes me not want to play the game when I encounter these civs or play as them when I play random civ.
This does not actually work (anymore). It did work just when they were introduced but the hotfixes “fixed” this and I think the only thing disabling the DLC does is unload the campaign missions, while the civs remain..You can go to Steam Settings and disable DLCs.
Why do you think this is crying? It reads like someone calmly asking how they can improve the experience of playing a game they like.Oh stop your crying already

Sometimes picking up your ball and going home is the right thing to do. However if OP did actually buy the DLC then he deserves maybe 20% of the harshness of calling it crying since it was supremely obvious from the start the DLC added no value to MP so I can give you that.Because it sounds like the AOE2 equivalent of I'm picking up my ball and going home. And furthermore I'm going back to the store to get my money back.
The OP didn't say that donating $1000 to a streamer wasn't a waste of money either. And I would hope he didn't say that elsewhere because it is a complete waste of money, unless you have an excessive amount of money of course. It's like how is $10 any more of a waste of money than that $1000 donation to a streamer?
Of course I remember that. Release Steppe Lancers were fun to play with, no denying that, though I probably would have felt bad if I had ever used them against other human players. However Cumans are already a gimmicky civ that you could say didn't really need to be added either so I don't think they make the best argument for these. And at least these 2 civs took a lot of work to put together. A streamer just sits there and plays a game. Sure the new civs feel a bit off but so did many other civs when they first came out. Remember Cumans? Stupid OP. The latest 2 additions just happen to be opposite, probably because the devs don't want to repeat the Cumans disaster.
I do not subscribe to the belief that bad content is better than no content. To me the kind of content to be excited about would be a complete overhaul of water design, not a 36th and 37th civ.And listen I wasn't the biggest fan of these 2 civs because they seem like spin-offs form existing civs but the bigger picture is that we're getting content and development for this game. For years I was fantasizing about that and just laughed it off as a silly whim. And now it's happening so effing enjoy it while it lasts you dum dums
Nothing can really change the feeling they don't belong in the game, at least to me. What is there to adapt to? They will never not be unnecessary additions that run completely contrary to the original design vision. Also give the devs some time to adjust these civs and for that matter give the community some time to adjust as well. There could yet be some interesting strategies we haven't seen yet with these 2 civs. Innovators like Tatoh or Vinch always like trying something new.
enjoyI wouldn't actually be opposed at all if it were possible to create your own small civ pool, and make the game select a random civ from that pool, so a semi-random pick overall.
Such bad mindset. These two civs are a part of the game now whether we like it or not
Why it's a bad mindset? Rather than complaining about introducing new civ isn't the correct mindset to play them and try to explore what they offer and what can be enhanced about them?Such bad mindset.
Their offering changes, that is the bothersome thing about them/DE. For a few instances whole techs are reworked or civ identities rewritten (incas noboru rush which has seen wide tournament use being killed, meso UTs age-swap/changes etc). Why it's a bad mindset? Rather than complaining about introducing new civ isn't the correct mindset to play them and try to explore what they offer and what can be enhanced about them?
It is a bad mindset because you can't accept how he feels about the game/ playin it / feels about the new civ. Why is it so hard to accept that a human being has his on feelings and oppinion. Why it's a bad mindset? Rather than complaining about introducing new civ isn't the correct mindset to play them and try to explore what they offer and what can be enhanced about them?
Hunyadi_ for me 10€ is alot of money. I can live in freedom and insilence for a whole week from 10 bucks.
And there a some people out there for them there is no difference in 10 or 100000. Its just numbers for them.
