I'm not talking about your case. More about the AoE community in general.Chris probably writes his posts in understandable sentences. I see so many people that barely speak English, making it very difficult to understand for people what they mean. Sure it will take more time solving that.i think voobly sucks, because chris got hacked and and an hour later he got his points back, but when a normal player asks for points, because of the dropping bug, or something like that, mods do anything!!
11 i think everybody understood what i meant in that post! and its not very difficult to understand that the other guy dropped and i lost points!
They are volunteering so that people will know their names, will fear them throughout the lands
voobly community sucks that's true. I had this game problem and I need to test it quickly and I hosted room titled "game test - help 60 seconds."
and I Waited for so long but no body came, there were like 700 users online in medieval siege

gameranger is great for that kinda testing. you almost instantly get some nice guy wanting to help u.
+1. This is how the pros do it.Just don't host it as test room, say 1v1 and then just cancel.
cant believe all the bitching about voobly. the majority of you doesn't have a gold account and so they never paid anything. still the only thing you do is demand, demand, demand. OFC voobly isnt implementing patch 1.1 since the opportunity to play on widescreen resolution is actually the only thing that makes people buy a gold account. apart from a few charitable people who appreciate the work voobly does. and guess what servers and traffic actually costs money (cant believe it, right?).
in fact i personally never had a problem with voobly moderators. sometimes when i drop and i feel like i was winning and the enemy didn't save i just create a topic and a few hours later the points are restored.
besides that i think that like someone said it's really a problem that a few people lack the ability to express themselves in proper english.
edit: oh and about the "NAT sucks thing". zoomorph, weren't you the guy who complained about aocs activity and claimed that the game is dead?! NAT is necessary since it makes it easier for new people to start right away. otherwise they will just decide to rather don't play aoc in voobly since it requires a basic knowledge of router configuration which many people unfortunately dont have. hence these casual gamers will never become regular gamers. you either didn't understand the correlation here or youre just a hypocrite.
I think he meant partial 11Impartial view is a bad thing? 11

An avg Joe can never become a mod in voobly unless he is in existing mod's close friend circle. Its a vicious cycle.. show me one mod u have who became a mod coz of good application and was fairly new to voobly?one problem with the voobly mods is that we simply don't have a lot of good applicants. We have to take what we can. If you guys can do a better job then the current mods then by all means apply please.
