Turns out you aren't all the viewers of aoe2Hey Bugum i dont agree, tbh i find the 4vs4 most fun to watch
I'm sure there are some people out there who'd take a michi tournament over a standard 1v1 RM one

The reason we see less 4v4/3v3 TG events is because 1: They have less viewers than a 1v1 event
That's part of the reason why I want there to be a major 4v4 tournament. It was already hilarious in the recent 3v3 tournament how a player on my team could tell when each opponent clicked up to the next age, not due to a score drop, but because it would cause his own game to freeze.I don't think the game stability would support a 4v4 tourney right now. There are already enough drops / lag spikes / etc in 1v1s. A 4v4 would be a nightmare
This is not something to agree or not, both statements are facts.Hey Bugum i dont agree, tbh i find the 4vs4 most fun to watch
lol everyone was talking about how great it was that the minimum prize was 3000 and I agreed with this so just expressing disappointment it dropped as proportionally 2500 is much less, no need to get so aggressive with the personal attacks. by redistribute I meant lowering the (non-guaranteed) amounts received by higher placed finishers rather than the minimum amount which I should have been clearer about so sorry for the misunderstanding. it appears from what @The_Philos said they already did this to some extent which is good but still disappointing to see it drop. And how the actual **** would you redistribute the pool (which is still an amazing 100K) without reducing it for some players??
Because redistributing is exactly what they've done...
Always so toxic looking to find sticks to beat the dog.
One would think you had a lack off hugs during Covid, but looking at your history here it's probably longer.
this is not a community tournament, it is an official event sponsored by a large, wealthy corporation.will you donate the money for the increased prizepool?
That still doesn't explain how there would suddenly more money available to just "increase the prizepool". You think they can make money out of thin air? It needs to come from somewhere and since you were disappointed by it I assumed you had a solution for it (other than just whining).this is not a community tournament, it is an official event sponsored by a large, wealthy corporation.
I might be wrong, but wasn't it mentioned at the last RBW that the prizepool was coming from Microsoft and RB "only" is paying evrything else (which is still a lot obv)? And also RB has their financial/budget planning which they probably cannot change shortly before the event starts.
If Red Bull can magically find the money they didn't originally budget to cover those two flights why can't Microsoft magically find money to increase the prizepool?I might be wrong, but wasn't it mentioned at the last RBW that the prizepool was coming from Microsoft and RB "only" is paying evrything else (which is still a lot obv)?
So RB obv already have to pay a bit more since they have 2 additional players (flight, food and so on) but I guess you cannot go casually to Microsoft and say "hey give us more money, we messed a bit up and have 2 more players now".
Will it matter if they are going to plan LAN? Serious question, I have no idea XDHow the **** is this going to go ahead with servers as they are?
literally no idea, I couldn't even host a custom lobby for me and my friends last nightWill it matter if they are going to plan LAN? Serious question, I have no idea XD
