... is maybe some of the people that play there. I mean how silly can you setup the configurations?
Just played a 1v1 on Arabia, Chinese ( me ) vs. Koreans. Well bet what strategy I faced. But worst of all is, it was played on "Basic Game" settings. So I kind of hate the Chinese (aoe civ, not the real culture) anyway, because I need to forcedrop every villager, but loosing wood as well, and having that not in mind, as I normally play "Expansions", really triggered me. Then my map was great. My TC all arabia style in the middle of a crater, all ressources uphill. To be clear: I mean great for the opponents incoming trush. And great for the boar, that killed my villager downhill, although it had loom. Oh, and guess what, standard Koreans seem not to be so bad at trushing. Ok, so I realized this would be one of these "fun" games, where you spend half an hour in feudal, just defending the trush. Luckily, I had spotted his stone, and it was quite forward. So I really like trushing, but not in games I play, but I felt like I had to counter trush, while partially defending at home (denying towers near my ressources). Luckily, it seems that 1680-ish players on HD like to trush without fletching. So I did my best to go to castle age, and actually killed him with a mangonel and my counter towers despite facing a forward castle near my starting TC.
But.... You may ask, WHY DO YOU PLAY SUCH GAMES THEN? Well, I say, just look at the settings that were in the other lobbies (No attack for 25min, All visible on Arena, BF,...) Why can't people just play CBA?
