Viper - Yo 3-1
I'm happy to be wrong. For me, someone that started paying attention to competitive AOE just recently, it is so obvious that Viper is not the undisputed best player in the world. The only analogy I can think of is how people talked about Brazil during recent world cups, always mentioned as favorites but clearly not the best team in the tournament. And this is not a dig at Viper, he's a great person and, obviously, a great player, but I do think it's been unfair to Liereyy, Hera and Yo to not recognize that they are no longer a step below Viper.
Not mine haha. See 6th post in this thread.welp gg everybodies predictions
Impressive! Can you teach me how you make these correct predictions?Let's go even bolder! 3 underdogs would win:
Daut: 2
Villese: 3
MBL: 3
Dogao: 1
TheViper: 2
Mr Yo: 3
Hera: 2
Liereyy: 3
This might look like an after-the-fact write-up but it's truly what I thought before the games:Impressive! Can you teach me how you make these correct predictions?
wow great technical analysis. This might look like an after-the-fact write-up but it's truly what I thought before the games:
Villese vs Daut:
Villese is showing huge strength in the later 2 games in group stage, beat 3-0 vivi and 3-0 tatoh. Seeing those games I find out that at this moment the hot-handed Villese is not the Villese we used to know, so I give him a W against Daut.
Mbl vs Dogao:
Mbl is simply too strong for Dogao. Easy guess.
Viper vs Yo:
Viper poses a better winning chance against any top players in the world -- except Yo. Yo has constantly beaten Viper entering 2020 for mysterious reasons... may because Yo came from a province in China (Guangxi) where snakes are often hunted by villagers.
Hera vs Liereyy:
Hera is really good, practicing and improving all day, and can crush anyone on earth including Viper and Yo. Liereyy, however, is not from earth, but an underage boy from Planet AoE, who doesn't quite enjoy his planet's main activity. Liereyy loves Dota2, and only practices AoE during real tournaments. After 3 games' warm-up in group stage, Liereyy is in a good shape to shutdown any earthman.
:D
