Hello guys,
I wanted to make a prediction contest for the Saiyanhood Invitational and here it is!
I used the prediction contest of the VoC tournament as example, made by the great Comet!
Big thanks to Stian and Ashby for organizing this tournament!
Rules
Scoring
Each entry will receive points based upon accuracy of their predictions and such. The entry with the highest total at the conclusion of the tournament is the winner. In case of a tie, the prize will be split amongst the winners.
Scoring will work as follows:
Example:
A "perfect" entry is worth 160 points broken down as follows:
44 points from rule (1) with perfect predictions of matches
44 points from rule (2) with correctly predicting winner of 44 matches
28 points from rule (3) for correctly predicting final placement of 14 players in the Round Robin
28 points from rule (4) for correctly predicting the exact total points of 14 players
16 points from rule (5) for correctly predicting the first, second, third or fourth place
Each match is worth up to 2 points (with a perfect prediction; 1 from rule (1) and 1 from rule (2)). The other possible outcomes are:
1 point: Predicted correct winner but had a wrong score
0 points: Did not predict correct winner and had a wrong score.
At the conclusion of the tournament, up to 72 more "bonus" points can be gained based on final standings from rules 3-5.
Entry Template
Please use the template in the box below exactly to submit an entry. Change the numbers only, please do not rearrange the order of the matches or add extra spaces or whatever.
Note that the finals are a best of 5 and not 3 games.
Note 2: If 2 or more players get the same amount of points I will use the same method as used in the tournament to determine which player gets which spot, so I will look at the matchup of the 2 players
If you wish to participate but do not want your entry public, you may submit an entry via PM.
Please use this thread for submitting entries only.
Good luck and have fun!
