Was the rule poorly written? Yes.
Was stopping players from hiding their identity the intention behind rule #4? Yes.
Was "Marillion" hiding his identity? Yes.
Within bended rules? Maybe.
Outside the spirit? Definitely.
Strongly disagree unless the spirit of the rule is very misguided.
I think the spirit should be to keep people from misrepresenting their skill levels, not their zone nicknames.
There's more to a player than his skill level, Fedex explained that well on one of the earlier pages.
It's not about the name but the complex identity of a player.
The "complex identity" of the player could have easily been gathered by watching the 100+ games he played on the Marillion name. In fact, I'm guessing that's a much more accurate representation of his current play style than simply knowing it was Dziam would be.
