Usually when one's say "balance" here, it turns into uncontrolable ****, that's why I wanted to know your point of view on this objective, troll-free question I don't know why nobody asked it.
THIS is AoC 1.0 to 1.0c comprehensive balance changes:
If you live on another planet 1.0c patch was released in 2001, on today's Voobly 100% of RM/DM games are played with 1.0c balance and no longer 1.0a/b.
N.B: Cysion AoFE modifies the change 1) , Carlos patch change 1) , 7) , 9)
If a balance update was to come, do you want 1.0c additions to remain 100% intact?

Civilizations
1) Aztecs get free Loom.
2) Byzantines get free Town Watch.
3) Chinese start with 50 less food (for a total of -200 food).
4) Franks now get the Halberd technology.
5) Goth infantry cost 35% less starting in the Feudal Age.
6) Japanese infantry get 25% attack speed bonus starting in the Feudal Age.
7) Shinkichon increases Onager range by +1 instead of +2.
8) Turtle Ships have bonus attack vs. ships and additional armor vs. Galley-line ships. Turtle Ship artwork is changed to be more realistic.
9) War Wagon and Elite War Wagon range is reduced, cost increased to 120 wood 60 gold.
10) Spanish Hand Cannoneer and Bombard Cannons fire 15% faster. Fire rate for Conquistadors and Elite Conquistadors is also improved by ~19%.
Units
11) Archery range units (except Hand Cannoneers, 1 additional damage over 10 infantry bonus) now do 3 bonus damage to Spearman-line units. 2 bonus damage only for Cavalry Archer-line.
12) Camels are now as quick to train as spearmen.
13) Viking Berserks now move as fast as Huskarls.
14) Celtic Woad Raiders now move faster (they run faster than Elite Eagle Warriors without Squires).
15) Bombard Cannons cause +80 additional damage to buildings.
16) Training time for Teutonic Knights, Longboats, Tarkans, and Samurai is significantly reduced.
17) Cavalry Archers now have equal range to Heavy Cavalry Archers.
18) Scout Cavalry get +2 attack in the Feudal Age.
19) Galleys now take 60 seconds to produce (War Galleys & Galleons still take 36 seconds).
20) Fireships & Fast Fireships have additional armor vs. all warships; also cause additional damage vs. Turtle Ships.
Buildings
21) Castles now take 50s longer to build.
22) Bombard Towers now do piercing damage instead of normal damage (the major effect is vs. rams).
Technologies
23) Loom provides +1 additional Pierce armor.
24) Palisade walls get +3 additional Pierce armor.
25) Treadmill Crane, Masonry, Architecture, Hoardings, Fortified Wall, Guard Tower, and Keep have had their stone cost replaced with wood or food. Now these technologies only cost food & wood.
26) Theocracy only costs 200 gold.
27) Shipwright now also decreases of 35% ship build time.
28) Parthian Tactics increases Cavalry Archer (+4) and Mangudai (+2) attack vs. spearman-line units.
29) Heated Shot now increases tower attack (+225%) and Castle (+4) attack vs. ships.
30) Capped Ram & Siege Ram upgrades no longer cost gold.
