I don't think anyone was expecting this many draws, next season will definitely have to be a BO3 or something similar!

You could do four games in a set instead of two, chances of a draw would be reduced and you can use 'games won' as criterium to tie for a place (by doing this winning 4-0 is better than 3-1 if you tie with someone in a position). Victory (4-0 or 3-1) would still count for 3 points and draws (2-2) 1 point only.

Yeah 4 games sounds about right but then you got to consider how you are gonna keep streaming/ commentating on the games every day.. especially if the field is bigger and i know you could just post the games and let everyone download them but i think the fact that you are commentating on the gml games is what makes me like them alot because you explain whats going on and why.. so for noobs its way better than just downloading them.. perhaps you could team up with someone who could commentate/make a video every other day too.. like bbqturkman maybe?. idk 11

That's right, but if they are planning to do a League 2 which would promote players to League 1 they're definitely going to need more people to do game commentating and video posting.

Also, they're not obliged to comment every game, maybe they could make a video commenting one or two games of a set, and let the other games posted only as SaveGames as it's usually done.

4 games per set, 3-1 or 4-0 wins 3 points, a 2-2 draw is one point. Win/Loss record serves as tiebreaker if two players are equal on points.

2 "home" maps per player in these sets, and each map can be chosen twice out of the map pool instead of once, but you can't choose the same "home" map in one matchup against another player.

2 Leagues of 8 players, bottom and top 2 get promoted. Probably need one or two more commentators alongside Zero if every game is to be commented on. Maybe only 1st league games get commented?

The only downside I see is that the season would take a long time. 112 games total per league instead of 56. If that is too much, then maybe 3 leagues of 6 players? Then each league only has to play 60 games (4 games per set, 3 sets per week, 5 weeks -> 4*3*5 = 60 games total). Not sure then if the top/bottom 1 or 2 should be promoted/relegated then. Probably 2.

They are not played since money was paid till 4th position and these were tied at lower position but still should have been played (imo) since this is trial version and future leagues may have different versions like the 1 suggestion of replacing bottom players in platinum league with top players in other leagues so every position should be secured.
Also another BO5 set for the community to feast on :P :P :P
