+1I'd respect Zero more if he just admitted everything he does is for himself and his Youtube channel, rather than the betterment of the community as he often tries to suggest. Just comes across as completely disingenuous and annoying.
Another thing- he goes way out of his way to undercut Voobly whenever he gets the chance... probably best evidenced when he announced his own arbitrary, contrived milestone like 24 hours after Voobly made their 1,000,000 views post.
Another perfectly articulated post by Andrew.
This is a load of rubbish - there is no reason for you to think that it is all for his channel and not for the community. Contrary to what you suggest he actively encourages people to play on Voobly in his casts and videos.
I will steal all viewers anyways by doing my long awaited second stream of Cooking With Gentle!

EDIT:
Didn't realize the sponsor was dropping 100k for this event to happen. I think the guy's wishes should be respected in that case.
Maybe you should try offering to share ad revenue? Or run some ads for voobly/aoc zone on your stream? I bet one of the sponsor's main goals was to promote those outlets.

Sounds delicious, DEFINITELY tuning into that!
Maybe some of you weren't around when GML happened, but I was, Zak forced us to watch the video of the recording before he uploaded the game records to AOCZone so he could gain more views on YouTube.
Zak also called Voobly illegal publicly on steam forum, which I strongly disagree. So much for "speaks highly of Voobly". He only does that when he needs Voobly. Period.
Did he force you to watch his videos first? Or did you choose not to exercise patience and wait for the games to be uploaded to aoczone?
+1I think Katsuni is a good caster and he has a considerable audience, but if i have to choose between these two i would rather see Zak. Because of the amount of his subscribers and followers Zak is able to give a better coverage of the event and to attract a bigger amount of viewers. Also Zak is a native speaker which really does matter when such an exciting and highly awaited event is streamed and we want it to be as professional as possible.pumukel said:The games will be casted by Katsuni and his co-casters on VooblyOfficial.

Well, this is the sponsor's money after all, he does not need to give a reason to not letting Zak stream the game. Zak has zero (pun intended) right whatsoever to demand anything here.

Yes, that's why I thought why I did it, that's my opinion. You can disagree with it but I'm not the only one who thought that. I ended up watching the video anyway, because it's Zak's tournament. I disagreed but I respected his decision. I think you guys and Zak should respect the sponsor's decision too.
Well, you guys can wait for him to cast the recorded game too. No one is forcing anyone to watch Voobly stream. That's the whole point of this "petition", isn't it?

BTW
While I do enjoy these Zak vs Voobly threads I do wonder how long it's gonna take till this all spirals out of control :/
And that for something that probably originates from some silly little thing/misunderstanding or whatever.
