At this point, I think they've changed enough of the core code that only the HD team would really know what the cause is now. However, it's definitely true that more logic updates will cause more command packets (especially with AI players), which can lead to an increase in perceived lag depending on ping, ordering, and dropped packet handling/resend failures. This is why UP did not touch the multiplayer logic update rate, which remains floating up to 40fps.I was reading their forums and the dev says 60 fps causes more lag in games due double packages of data or atleast thats his explanation to the insane lag in all games around +30 mins, now they capped it to only 30 fps in multiplayer and the performance has decayed, do you really think the frame rate is the guilty of the lag in HD version or its all the structure thats is wrong?
