CONCEPT

The Outback Octagon II pits 32 of the world’s best players in a free for all tournament. Taking place over 5 weeks throughout April and May 2023, players will initially be split into four groups of 8. From there, the opponents for each player will change as the Swiss-system begins to form a hierarchy of players.

EVENT STRUCTURE AND DATES

The 5 week event will be organised into two stages, a Swiss stage and the final stage. Stage 1: Swiss Stage (April 15/16, April 22/23, April 29/30, and May 6/7) Stage 2: Final Stage (May 13/14) For each week during the Swiss stage there will be four separate FFA games, with eight players each.

INVITATIONS

The Outback Octagon is an invitational with no sign ups and no qualifications. Invitations will be based on 1v1 tournament ranking (ATR) and existing standing in the AoE4 community.
