Yes, like in every game.So if me and my bro want to play we have to pay 2x?each account must buy a copy of the game to play
that's the whole reason why all legitimate players will prefer steam

"Like in every game" ???
"Same with original AOE2" ...
I have no idea what you are talking about, is it about the steam site?
5.DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. You may receive the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in more than one medium. Regardless of the type or size of medium you receive, you may use only one medium that is appropriate for your single COMPUTER. You may not RUN the other medium on another COMPUTER. You may not loan, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the other medium to another user, except as part of the permanent transfer (as provided above) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
+1
that's technically the same with original AOE2 too
and MindFreak, you deserve to be banned for all that pointless bashing
I'm talking about installing the game on a single computer and sharing the computer. Not any kind of lease or loan or rent.5.DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. it will work. they always write the recommended requirements, and even they in fact are lowermy ram - 512mb.
GG
I REALLY hope Vobly find a way to support this version of AoC because finally I will be able to play in a nice 16:9 widescreen in official client without hacked stuff, etc. I tried the hacked widescreen mod but it totally sux...
you'd have to move your head at 45 degrees to see the mini map. i dont think thats an advantage 11
CONS:
-We may lose all the patches for aoc like snow, ***** trees, mirror
-AoFE dies
-Matchmaking probably would be a fail (there is SOMETHING wrong with voobly? only problem is the number of players)
-We cant smurf, so we cant train properly
-We even have to pay for that
-Community splitted
-We may not be able to see old recs
would be best if the community was split so laggers / droppers / smurfers play on Voobly / GR and legit people play on Steam.
This is nice (giving options on UI position, some streamers will like this very much), and really glad to see some decent wide-screen implementation on Voobly (no ugly stretching), plus for free now, thanks for your efforts! We have some advanced controls added like UI positioning (e.g.: dialogs only on primary monitor instead of spanning). We will have to see if AOE HD is as full featured in this respect. (We are going to add an option to let folks choose the placement of the control bar as well, i.e.: center or left)
Im the only sceptic about this?
PROs:
-Better graphics (oh so cool!!!, i play aoc in low...)
-Bringing some new players
-Maybe some tourney?

If AT LEAST it brings some fixed mechanics like patrolling or removing some bugs... but probably not
this doesn't seem stupid to memultibuilding selection and queueing [...] and other stupid stuff
What exactly is Steam Workshop?
Can someone give a detailed explanation? Thx
have you even seen the official forums? most of the people asking for multibuilding selection and queueing, farms that doesnt expire and other stupid stuff. Experts play for money and MS has to put some on the table, btw who cares about the sea, lol.
