Green Arabia is the best map to play Deathmatch because it offers fast gameplay. If you add water into the mix, you allow a player the opportunity to build up and defend. Walls, millions of docks, castles, etc, which all slow the game down.
I have called for it myself, but on reflection - whilst these games work in Random Map - the large amount of resources coupled with the final age means you have the best in all areas of defense, attack etc. In RM you have to build up those capabilities, where as in Deathmatch each player is equal. Even the best players still take time to destroy structures, hence why games such as Michi (where the map offers the player 20 mins to prepare for an attack) it can take a true 2k+ DMer nearly an hour to best their opponent, if not more...
