Nomad Wars 3 - 3v3 Nomad Only Event - $1225+ Prize

It's been about a year since I hosted the first Nomad Wars! I'm really excited that between now and the end of the year I'll be hosting two more events before 2023 is out. It's been a big year since last October, then there has been:

- Nomad Wars
- Nomad Wars Duos
- Nomad Wars League (Seasons 1-3)
- Nomad Warriors
- Wandering Squires Cup
- Crap Map Cup
- Battle for Scotland
- GBDC Cup

I think in total across all events about 1500 participations, an incredible amount! In the meantime, the next event will be a team game event:

Map: Nomad (No Treaty)
Number of Players: Minimum of 4, max of 5 per team
Tournament Format: Groups into KO
Elo Restrictions: Open to all
Number of Brackets: Three (Provisionally)
Size of Brackets: TBC 16/32 (Dependent on sign ups)
Prize pool: $800+ (Restricted to top bracket)

Just kidding (it is unnecessarily a big deal lately), on the other hand good luck with tournament, nice to see another one after British tourney.

 

Prizepool has been increased by $200 and is now up to $450. If anyone is interested in supporting this event further, then please let me know. I believe the highest prize pool Nomad only event is $1500...

 

Great effort. I like the experimentation and the choice of an unusual, but known map.

¡Ha pasado aproximadamente un año desde que presenté la primera Nomad Wars! Estoy muy emocionado de que entre ahora y fin de año organizaré dos eventos más antes de que salga 2023. Ha sido un gran año desde octubre pasado, luego ha habido:

Really nice to have another B tier TG tournament.
(You know that Nomad is my favourite classic standard map, but high level 3v3/4v4 tournaments in general are also always underrepresented.)

I am excited that all of these teams have signed up (even PUB), but especially Babyshark. Cloud is ALWAYS playing Nomad TGs with the Taiwanese community.

25 teams signed up in total with about 16 hovering around the 2k mark or above. Would love some more mid elo sign-ups!

 

$225 added to prize pool and up to $725.

Currently we are still looking at three divisions, Gold, Silver and Bronze, but the brackets will not be the same size.

Brackets may fill and if signs up are later in the period I may have to turn some away unfortunately. Best thing to do is sign up ASAP if interested.
