Inspired to start this thread by the other topic about wolves.
I was wondering what aocers think about a no-wolves patch for competitive play (or adding no-wolves into something like userpatch). The main reasons i have for this is 1) the use of palisade walling over wolves to scout for forwards or army movements. 2)Wolves inhibiting strategy by making things such as fwds or sneaks risky due to the number of wolves you are likely to encounter 3) sometimes they can be pretty unfair, ie you run into 2 wolves going to dock while the enemy has 0.
Wolves add some flair and scouting requirements to the game, and in some situations you can 'bait' the enemy into a wolf which is pretty nice. That said, I think their removal would be an overall positive.
Your thoughts?
