one more thing:
I believe UpperKEES and Zottendree are the same person, or in close relation.
i believe you only just came out of your moms hole
Further, most of those steam online players are single player.
Right now there is 50-100 people playing it MP on steam.
We both know you pulled that out of nowhere. Steam doesn't show lobbies that are full or if the game has started. Just because you see 50-100 in the waiting lobbies doesn't mean that's all there is online.
Here you go, 24 players in the waiting lobby. About 50-100 in total playing MP concurrently.

Your information is completely biased. according to aoe2pro, unofficial site, but the only one which can extract statistics on the rating and number of games.
after seven months, Aoe2HD only have:
5159 players with +10 games.
2454 players with +50 games.
1233 players with +100 games.
357 players with +200 games.
16 players with +500 games.
500 games approximately are 2 games daily. we can conclude that Aoe2HD was a big failure.
in voobly skill level they r proly 1300, proly i could kill top 10 there 30:0, "pros" wont play there cause its only noobs and no competion
anyone know if there is spectator mode?
Im not sure there will ever be a reason to move on from voobly as long as it exists. They have shown that they are willing to do what it takes to keep this community moving forward.
8thwonder i've seen in recs couldn't beat 1300 voobly 30-0 so i doubt thatin voobly skill level they r proly 1300, proly i could kill top 10 there 30:0, "pros" wont play there cause its only noobs and no competion
As for HD, I usually see about 2200 players on Saturday evening, but that includes single players too.
I don't have a clue, don't think those stats are available anywhere. But could be a good estimate. Anyways, point I wanted to make is that voobly has a very fanatic/small community compared to GR/HD. When I played on voobly, I would see my friendlist online everyday, playing everyday. My Steam friendlist I see them playing a few games per week. They're the casual crowd, they're much larger, but play less frequently. Same for GR really. Which is also why these communities keep thriving despite little to no advertising. As for HD, I usually see about 2200 players on Saturday evening, but that includes single players too.
Can you tell me what's the percentage of people that only plays single player and never touches the multiplayer mode on Steam HD? I heard somewhere it's about 70-80% of the players?
So from those 2200, 500 are actually playing online at peak times.

Hence there's absolutely no way to compare clients in absolute numbers, only by what you personally prefer or in which target group you most feel home.
