exactly! NPL is supposed to provide an easy online experience for NEW players. The way it is right now, this is hardly the case. The only thing it does is dividing the community since intermediate skilled players prefer to be on top of the food chain and play in NPL.just delete the new player lobby please please
there is no such thing as new player
if only new player would go NPL it should contain 20-30 ppl max
(half of them would play unrated)
You merged RM DM becouse you don"t want to split the community now you spiltted it with this crap NPL

Yup, 100% agreed. aoe2.net for instance shows 6 (sortable) columns, while Voobly shows 13 currently. One column I really like (and that's missing on Voobly) is the "Elo" one. So what you're describing could be solved/implemented fairly easily. It's just annoying having to always check the rating ladders in a game when you are in MS
Whoah, I thought Santa was Russian, this changes everything. 8-)Sure, Salad. Please refer to:

Not really. Ideally, if the host sets RM 1v1 in the game room settings, his RM 1v1 rating would be displayed there. For RM TG, we could calculate the average RM TG rating of the players currently waiting in the room. (same principle for DM and other ladders)@genette, it might get a bit confusing for sorting them with the difference between 1v1 and TG ladders.

aoe2.net
mock-design with the host / player average rating column included (ms paint ftw)
Another possibility is having one ladder but players can choose to start at 1600/1400/1200 depending on their level and the first 10 games have larger impact on rate bringing all players to one lobby. Thoughts?
Give this change some time.
It's a good change.
Imo should have just made npl totally unrated, but it's still fine this way.
It will need a couple of weeks, but i'm convinced it will kick in.
