To all 1700-2000 Elo range players be careful,

While playing a ladder game this morning on stream. I came across a player known as R1sk (unsuspicious stats for a cheater) since he had 1900 Elo around 120 games played, 80 wins, and 40 losses.

After trapping his army, the lad seemed frustrated, and I suddenly had "you have been defeated" displayed on my screen without clicking anything... that feeling I had, It felt like I got robbed <.<

I don't know if this player can be tracked, but be careful out there!

- 80 aoe2 games with 60 wins and 20 losses.
- 20 aoe4 games with 20 wins but they count as 20 losses too because aoe4 is for losers.

Probably better suited to make this false equivalencey where the safe spaces for anti-off-meta folks exist. At least then you'll get a few chuckleheads to agree.

First of all, regarding the cheat itself, well over a year ago German white hat hacking collective Red Rocket identified numerous vulnerabilities in DE which remain unsolved, many of which are legacy issues that were never dealt with over the course of 20+ years (I got to that link courtesy of simonsan, credit where it's due). Among them are several of the issues we're dealing with right now, the least harmful of which is map hacking - in practice, you can control your opponent's units, delete them, or, as our buddy here just experienced, defeat your opponent by command (akin to the "torpedo #" cheat). In other words, this is no "new" cheat, as suggested by the OP, but one that has been around since forever. It's just that those with access to it probably prefer the "fun" of toying with a helpless rival who doesn't know he's at the mercy of some cunt.

As for the identity of the cheater, it's also most likely an old acquaintance of ours. When Ertug came back to play under the name Lorenz (some high level players will remember him as a guy who popped up out of the blue with a German flag, a high rating and suspicious moves) and was trying to hide his real identity, he claimed to be R1sK, a Turkish player who was active in the HD days. Someone who was friends with R1sK back then confirmed it was not the same person (Lorenz had no knowledge of things the real R1sK would've been familiar with). In short, we're most likely dealing with Ertug yet again, who on top of being a piece of **** is apparently hopelessly uncreative.

this is absolutely true and there was also a clip on jonslow discord, where Darknoob asked in chat and ertug answered identifying himself as "R1sk"

I palyed vs, Beno...defended pretty badly ealry castle, but i cleared his army then he with 20 eagles quite quicly with 10-15 slingers as well. when i cleared that he returned with 30 eagles 20 slingers aaaaand 30 fully upgraded swordsmen. Rec had worldtime error, which makes me more suspicious. Can players spawn res? likely i am just bad, dont have stats but ireckon 32-35min into game.
